A&E coronation???

I Have seen a couple of Facebook threads regarding a&e royal coronation on 24th September, is anyone able to shed any light on this? Or is it just a rumor?

Aaarrrrrggghh. That's our MK day. I really hope it doesn't happen that day, I want to avoid crowds as much as possible. Our entire week's itinerary is planned around that day, so that will turn everything upside down if there is in fact a coronation held that day.

Fingers crossed it's just a rumor, or the date gets changed!

I was there when Ginnefer Goodwin and others opened New Fantasyland. It was crowded and exciting.

Just a thought, but if they are going to do it that late in the year, why not push it off a couple of more months? Check this idea out. You can do the coronation on the same day that you would light up Cinderella Castle in ice. Seems perfect for Elsa, no? You start the coronation near sunset so that when the ceremony is over, BAM! The castle is iced over!

I've said all along that if they don't have Elsa involved in the Castle Lighting this year, then they don't deserve to keep the profits from the movie.

Ahaha THIS!! Lol. I really do think/hope they'll do SOMETHING surrounding the lights & Elsa, even if it's just added in to the fireworks/ctm during the season!

As for the coronation, I've put the question out to a few entertainment friends but don't know how much they'll know!

The coronation is to crown them Official Disney Princesses. Currently they are Queen and Princess of Arrendale but they aren't in the Official Disney Princess Line Up.

I sure hope it's not Sept 24. That's our MK day. We have 8:15 (pre park opening) breakfast ADR for Crystal Palace and dinner reservations at BOG. Very unlikely we could reschedule both. We're there for lower crowds not the coronation.

Arrrrrgh!!! If it's Sept. 24th I'm going to be SO MAD!! I fly down the very next day!! Then MNSSHP that Friday!! I always miss the good stuff--like the villains event!! Does anyone want to donate to the "I need more Disney in my life" fund? lol
