If someone from your party has time, go outside and ask the CM standing in from of the M&G what the best approach is. But they seem to allow later reservations to go in and order even at @8:00. So get there early eat, and make sure you are at least standing on the other side of the bog bridge around 8:45 to make sure you beat the crowds. I kid you not, if we waited 2 minutes more to eat, we would have been stuck in a 45 minute line or longer

That's ridiculous that BOG would allow people to come in before their reservation time! I've gone there a few times for lunch and I've had to wait outside before when I showed up early. That is so not far for those who have 8am times! Wow! And I thought you benefited from pre-ordering but what's the point if everyone gets in the same line? I hope all this changes before I'm there on May 17th for my 8am!

We'd pre-ordered for breakfast. However the pre-order tills weren't working when we got to BOG, so the CMs fast tracked us to the head of the ordering kiosks. So there was definitely a benefit from pre-ordering (even if it didn't actually work)!

I preordered 2 days beforehand. i waited in line to get up to the host, and he gave me a tracking rose (staying off site). We stood in line, which had preorder guests and non preorder guests waiting together. We got up to the 2nd host stand and traded "roses" with that host and went to pay for our food. i asked if wet had to wait in the line if we preordered and he said yes.

Preorder so you can stand in line sounds like standing in line at FP kiosks in order to avoid standing in line. Par for the new Disney course.

If you're not at the BOG rope when they allow RD people to enter, I guess they assume you're with that group. We got out of BBB early and were at the castle rope, we got to start walking as soon as they saw RD coming. We were first in line for A&E thanks to the wonderful adult group that were in front of us. RD people are fast let me tell you. And once they got there, they were crazy. Placing children over ropes, climbing through them, yelling. I felt much safer for my kids being early entry, I wouldn't have tried A&E first thing otherwise. And Elsa really rushed us, she was speed talking and went right to photo. Anna spoke normally and did an autograph, asking if we needed her sister to sign as well.
We ended up using our later fastpass because we didn't get my other daughter's pillowcase signed in the rush, waited 40 minutes in the FP only line, and had a much better interaction. Not rushed at all and caught Anna being extra silly waiting for the next guests.

Sorry to hijack, but quick question about CP prepark and A&E. Where exactly do they hold the CP folk in relation to the castle? And will we be ahead of the main gate RD crowd? From CP, should we go through the castle or around it? Trying to visualize three groups converging on New Fantasyland from three different directions....becomes confusing.

About a month ago some guest where reporting feeling rushed and unhappy with their meet and greet. @ A&E.

You want to talk about rushed. While waiting for a&e lst april. We were next to meet them aurora was bored I guess waiting forcthe next family so she came over and signed the kids books. We met a&e and then when we went to aurora she took 2 pics and she shuffled us out. Guess that's why she had nothing to do and came and signed our books. She was booting people right out. We were kinda upset about that one. First time we ever felt rushed like that. A&e were great though.
