So Friday morning we got up, packed the car, said good-bye to our wonderful Mickey House as Meredith had started to call it, and pulled away from the All Star Resort. We had asked the boys what park they wanted to visit, and the both declared MK to go ride things in Adventureland. We told them we would only be going until lunchtime, and then we needed to hit the road and head for home.
We got to the park around 10:00
not to terribly late. We went straight to Adventureland, and hit the last couple of attractions we hadnt seen yet. We did the Tiki Room
here are some pictures of the kids waiting to go in. The were impressed with the water & fire????
We enjoyed it, and the boys were familiar with the song from an old CD I have of Disney music, which is one reason why Aidan was wanting to go back and see the show.
Next we walked through the Swiss Family Treehouse. Im going to have to rent this movie some time for the boys to see
they didnt get it.
We walked right onto Pirates of the Carribean, another one that Meredith covered her ears for. The boys liked it, as did Fred & I.
Finally we headed to the Jungle Cruise (which we had pulled a FP for). Im beginning to think I vaguely remember doing this at
Disneyland when I was 3
along with a few other things (like Dumbo). Anyway, Meredith loved this, as she is such a fan of animals
and she didnt even mind that these werent real.
Elephants, just for Meredith:
Trader Joe, I believe his name is? (someone correct me if Im wrong!)
Next, we grabbed a bite to eat at Pecos Bills. I loved the self service ordering system! After ordering 2 dbl cheeseburger meals, a kids chicken salad (for the non-beef eater, Truitt), and a kids hamburger meal, I realized that I had only been charged for 3 of my remaining 4 QS meals.

Upon getting our food, I sent Fred to the table, hopped back in line, and ordered myself one of the chicken wraps. We had sooo much food, but it was soooo good. I originally was going to share by dbl burger with Aidan, but in the end he got to eat it all himself (yes, you heard me right). My NINE YR OLD at the entire burger. Mind you this sweet boy hadnt eaten much the last few days due to the tummy issues hed been having, but I think he made up for it. We packed our cookies to take with us, and headed off into the sunset (okay, not really).
Actually, we made our way over to Fantasyland. I wanted to see if there were any quick attractions we could get on
with no such luck, so we decided to get our pictures in Dumbo (which we had missed since riding it our first night in the parks).
This one shows Meredith a little better, but we got Mr. Random Dude in the shot
This one Meredith is a bit hidden, but Ms. Random Dudettes hiney is so big & shiny
ooops sorry.
And of course, the wild animals that we were taking home with us
We worked our way up to the front of the park. I grabbed one last shot of the castle.
Had a photopass person take our picture in front of the castle (I STILL havent found that blasted card!

), and then we hit the shops for some t-shirts. Our final stop in MK
the sweet little bakery on Main Street, to use up our remaining 11 (yes, ELEVEN) snack credits. We bought 6 muffins, 4 Diet Cokes, and a brownie for the road.
As we left the park, we said good-bye, and loaded up in the truck to start our long drive home.
Im almost too sad to post about the drive home.

Maybe tomorrow I will try to add that tiring, pathetically sad trip. The one good thing
Fred said we would be going back to Disney, certainly in Nov. 2011 for our 15th anniversary, and without the kids. Now if I can just convince him to go NEXT year during Spring Break again.
