A Dream Squad Tribute

Thank you Dream Squad!! You have all made so many dreams come true! My family was lucky enough to get 3 dreams. Our first was in August 2007, when we were in line for the Magic Carpets and everyone was given Dream Ears. In July 2008 we got the other 2 dreams. Me and my brother split up from my parents and decided to ride the Magic Carpets. Believe it or not, but the Dream Squad was there and this time we got Dream Fastpasses. We were so surprised to get another dream in exactly the same spot. A few days later, we went to AK and decided to go to Maharaja Jungle Trek. When we got on the trail we saw two Dream Squad members holding a rope telling us that we had to wait there for a second because of the pixie dust ahead. We figured we had missed the dream, but we were still excited that we got to see the DS again. Then they let us pass, but to our amazement more DS members were still there and they were passing out Dream Ears. It was so amazing to see everyone walking down the trail with their Dream Ears on. These dreams meant so much to our family and I just want to thank all the DS members for making so many dreams come true!!! :wizard:pixiedust::thanks:

Thank you the Dream Squads for making it such a magical experience! We appreciate everything you've done.

Besides Dream Fastpasses and YOMD Ears, we got a really nice tour of one of the back paths that we were looking for (though I'd have to read my notes to remember where it was. Got to find the notes reminding me where I left the other notes first!! :rolleyes1 )

I really appreciated the Dream Squad. They made our trip even more magical!

I love these people. The last time we there we received so much stuff. My kids came out of Star Wars and they were there and they received fast passes to every ride. One time we all received special pins. Way to go Dream Team.

We were lucky enough to meet and win something from the Dream Squad from each park. However, I have to say that my favorite Dream Squad was the Hollywood Studios, we have never met a more extraordinary group of people.

my family ( plus the extended ones) have come down to disney to visit me several times since they started giving out dreams. we never were awarded a dream (maybe because were usually a party of around 15). but all of these trips were with just my immediate family and my mother had passed away about 6 months before YOAMDs started.
that this last trip my dad, sister and i had one extra day at disney before they had to leave me to go home. it was already determind that it was going to be a very special (yet extremely hard) day for us. how fitting was it that as we walked into of the dinosaur ride at dak (our first ride for the day) we see the dream squad just hanging around and then as we walked into the preloading area we were awarded dream fast passes for the day! now we didn't actually need the dream fast passes because we had a guest assistance pass because of my father, but it made us feel so special and we wore those passes all day long through all of the parks.
i have seen the dream squad in action so many times and make so many people happy and i am so greatful that my family was able to experience that joy too. :goodvibes

With all do respect... I will say congrats on getting them, HOWEVER... to me, that was plain out rude and selfish that you didn't consider offering them to a family of three while you were out wandering the park/s. Since you already had the guest assistance pass, you didn't need the dream fast passes. You could have been nice and allowed someone to physically use them. But that is just my opinion.

Maybe they wanted to keep the Dream Fast passes as a wonderful memory of their experience with the Dream Squad. Just because they didn't need them doesn't mean they had to give them away. I would have kept them myself for my scrapbook it I didn't need them.

I was a cast member for the DreamSquad at Animal kingdom during that time. That was, by far, the best working experience of my life.
