Here is to all of those Cast Members that were assembled to fulfill the goals of the Year of a Million Dreams at Walt Disney World. They truly were the best of the best at guest service and if you had the opportunity of spending some time with one - deem yourself lucky.

All of these photos involve the cast at the end of the celebration.

I would have loved their job - even just for a day :cool1:

Didn't meet any of the dream squad when we were they but have enjoyed reading about others dreams :surfweb:

Yes, thanks to all the dream team members. We were lucky enough to encounter them on a couple of occassions while we were there.

We were lucky in MK!!! :lovestruc Thanks for making my little man an honory lost boy his certificate looks great in our scrapbook! :worship: You all are wonderful and will be missed.:sad1:

We haven't meet anyone of them but glad to know that all of you had a great job. Looking forward to know more about them.

Have a nice day everyone. :)

my family ( plus the extended ones) have come down to disney to visit me several times since they started giving out dreams. we never were awarded a dream (maybe because were usually a party of around 15). but all of these trips were with just my immediate family and my mother had passed away about 6 months before YOAMDs started.
that this last trip my dad, sister and i had one extra day at disney before they had to leave me to go home. it was already determind that it was going to be a very special (yet extremely hard) day for us. how fitting was it that as we walked into of the dinosaur ride at dak (our first ride for the day) we see the dream squad just hanging around and then as we walked into the preloading area we were awarded dream fast passes for the day! now we didn't actually need the dream fast passes because we had a guest assistance pass because of my father, but it made us feel so special and we wore those passes all day long through all of the parks.
i have seen the dream squad in action so many times and make so many people happy and i am so greatful that my family was able to experience that joy too. :goodvibes

Would be to find out who the dream squad girl in the Magic Kingdom, who was walking around at night, by herself in April 2007, that told us to mail in our entries into the YOAMD......I checked the pic and did not see her...I wish I could find her and say a big THANK YOU!!!!!!! :cool1:

We were SOOOOO lucky to be able to meet Mike from PA and Todd when we were in EPCOT in Dec. We were first in line at one of the turnstyles and Mike and Todd walked over and started talking to us. They were awesome, soooooooooo nice and very funny. My DS still talks about them. Well, when we entered Mike and Todd walked us over to where the rope drop was. We stood in front and kids got to shake hands will all the characters, Minnie kissed DS. It was awesome being there for the rope drop. Then when the rop dropped, Mike said "your not getting rid of me that easily". He gave us a little personal tour for about an hour or so. He brought us to figment which wasn't on our list to do but the kids loved it. They he brought us on the Nemo ride, kids loved that too. DS kept asking about Saorin and Mike gave us fastpasses for it for later so we could enjoy other stuff while everyone else was waiting in line for soarin. He was just amazing. We saw him a little later and we all got YOMD lanyards with pins, so cool. He really added so much to our vacation. We were not planning on going in Dec but DH was getting deployed in Jan so we had to move it up and I'm so glad we did otherwise we would not have had that great experience. DS said I should have told them his Dad was going away and maybe we could have stayed in Castle :rotfl: . Yep, he's my big dreamer! I just wanted to share my wonderful encounter with these amazing people. BTW, I think Mike is the guy kneeling down in front on the EPCOT picture. I can't see the pic clearly but it certainly looks like him. MIKE YOU ROCK!!!

Thanks for sharing the pictures!!! And thank you Dream Team Members....we were lucky enough to get ears, lanyards, 1st family & dream passes. I, to, wish I had your job for a day-oh to make people happy!:goodvibes

I do, I see Nancy (from MK) and I think I see Stockton (who was in charge of the MK YOAMD). Both went above and beyond to make our children's day the best we have ever had.

They were amazing, caring, wonderful people and the best part of everything about our magical day was the ability to meet them.

My DSIL was on the Studios Dream Squad (though not in the picture). We are very proud of him even if this means we couldn't win anything!

The best days of my life were being a part of the MK Dream Squad!:goodvibes It's sad that we had to retire too soon! Once a Dreamer...always a Dreamer! :wizard:

I stalked may of these people during my 3 trips duing this year of the Million Dreams but never got a chance to win a dream and meet one of them,

We are looking for a girl that was a DS member at MK.....It was April 2007, it was at night...All I remember, she was from the south, and she had attended parades in her hometown...Where everyone dressed up fancy.....She was not in the pictures....She was very friendly, and told us to mail in our entrties...We talked for about an hour in front of Pirates...I believe she was in the college program before working FT at Disney....Because of her, we won our DVC....Any ideas? I know its a long shot.......

I recognized Al from MK. He awarded our family last year the chance to watch the fireworks from platform at the Astro Orbitor. It was so fun to be able to watch them from up there and Al made our trip.

My son also experienced a DS member. We were in MK getting ready to get in line for the Peter Pan ride when the DS came up to him and ask if he'd like to be a honorary lost boy. He received a Certificate and some "gold". It was so nice of the lady to have chosen my son. We were also put right on the ride with out waiting. Thanks Dream Squad!

Although I'm not in the MK Dream Squad photo, my time as a member of the Dream Squad was a time that I will NEVER forget. What an honor to be able to make guests dreams come true every day in big and small ways. I think I speak for all of us when I say that I wish we could have granted EVERY guest a wish during the Year(s) of a Million Dreams....I will be telling my stories of that time for the rest of my life!!!
