Part 15 - Purchases!!

Well this time, there wasn't a lot we need to get for this holiday. But there was a few bits and pieces, which were essential!!

luggage!! packing for 6 and for 3 weeks, we needed 4 more, and these are what we went for. Pink for the girls :rotfl: Also needed some more TSA locks, and scales, no excess baggage charges for us!!

We needed water park shoes, these were from Amazon, and are super cute, the older kids and adults are plain and boring....lol

I have bought a couple more of these, which are essential for the amount of photos I will take, did I tell you I like take them ;)

These were bought back in early 2011 for Max and Charlotte, but the tracksuit bottoms are still too big for Max, oh well not to worry. They are very nice and from the DisneyStore. Other Disney t-shirts are here too. Rest of our clothing is just that!! pretty boring normal stuff:rotfl:

Suncream is essential and we got a few bottle of this stuff!!

There is probably lots of other bits and pieces, but not that I need to bore you all with:banana:

Thank you for reading along!!

:dance3:More coming soon... xx:dance3:

Part 15 - The last of the Vow stuff

So with all my planning, and sharing what has been carried out over the past 18 months, we are almost to the end of all my bits and pieces for our special day. Here I will just run through the last few details for you.

The cake - originally we were just going to have a bulk standard cake from Publix. But Nick's Mum wanted to buy us something a little, lets say WOW. So after lots of choices we evenyually decided on this. No ours isn't that big:thumbsup2, it is just the top two tiers + the castle topper. We are also having polka dot ribbon on each tier.

We are having a sand ceremony as part of the day, and have chosen this type. Our colours are moonshine, berry and white.

Our photography is being provided by the wonderful Randy Chapman. We are only having a 2 hour shoot but feel that is enough for us.

Dress steamer - We are unsure if we are going to need to have this done, I will see what my dress is like when we arrive. If I do i will most likely used Carolyn Allen.

Hair & make- up - Is being provided by Beaute Special. Just Beth and I are being made up.

Rings - we would like new rings, but not sure if we can afford them at the moment.

Readings - We have one that we found on-line and played with a little. Charlotte or Brandan are going to read.

The One
When the one whose hand you’re holding
Is the one who holds your heart
When the one whose eyes you gaze into
Give your hopes and dreams their start
When the one you think if first and last
Is the one who holds you tight
And the things you plan together
Make the whole world seem just right
When the one whom you believe in
Puts their faith and trust in you
You’ve found your one and only love
You’ll share your whole life through

Hope you have enjoyed sharing all our plans

More to come soon xx

ok..... so call me something, i see food, clothes and more food. apart from the vow renewal are we going anywhere other than a restaurant? or do the parks house nothing but access to food.

i know just how much work has gone into making this something more than just 'special'. i only hope that the three weeks is going to be enough

everyone knows that food is the most important part ;)

Part 16 - Epcot wish list!!

Hello readers, I have decided to go through each park looking at what we would like to do, so I have decided on EPCOT first. To be honest we didn’t really do it justice last time, and missed so much.We weren’t sure what to make of it all last time, and although I read lots of reports on yeah it’s good, it’s only for adults, we want to spend some quality time there.

So I will begin with things we would like to try, which we missed last time from Future World.

Test Track
Everyone wanted to ride this last time, but every time we went near the stand by queue was just too long, and all the fast pass tickets had gone. So we ideally would like it to be one of the first rides we encounter. Max was a little worried about it last time, but now he is 7, hopefully he will want to ride with us, or simples, I will wait with him. (since writing this up, we have learnt that we won't actually get to ride it at all as it is being refurbished all the time we are there..

Club Cool
Not quite sure how we missed this place last time, as it appears in everyone’s trip report. So ideally we would to stop off here, to try the different flavours. Having looked at the different flavours I think I would like to taste the smart watermelon flavour.

Circle of Life
Apparently, this is a 12 minute film, and would like to check it out next time. Brandan likes Timon & Pumbaa, so this could be interesting or not…

Living with the land
This 13 minute ‘Educational’ boat ride may be interesting, so we are going to try an put this in next time. I didn’t know the vegetables were used upstairs in the restaurant

Innovations east and west
We strangely never went in either of these, not sure what we missed, but will give it a go next time.
East will be interesting for the gee whizz technology, especially for Brandan.

So there is our list of things to do. We will obviously like to re do,

Spaceship Earth – This was one of Charlotte’s favourite rides, and is excited to go back on here.

Mission Space – We all apart from Max wen on here last time, and doubt he will want to go on again knowing Max.

Journey into imagination with Figment – We all loved this little ride, and everyone enjoyed the interactive stuff at the end. We did queue up to have the photo done at the end, but we were running late for an ADR, so had to leave. Maybe this time

Soarin – The Queue was gigantic but totally worth it. Max cried all the way through the queue, but enjoyed the ride itself so much he wanted to back on.

epcot-rides.jpg

The Seas with Nemo and friends – All enjoyed this, and will ride again.

Turtle talk – This was a feel good one, and made us all laugh, another must do.

Food areas in Future World include Coral Reef, and the Garden Grill. We have Coral reef on our must do’s but won't be dining at Garden grill.

Working our way into the World Showcase, is where we will hopefully spend some time. Hopefully we will take more of an advantage of the Epcot food and wine, enjoying different tastes through the world. We were there for it last time, but embarrassingly never tried anything.

Starting off with Canada, we ideally would like to see the O Canada show, didn’t catch it last time. We ate at Le Cellier at lunch time before, but this time will probably have dinner there. The kidcot area was also a nice place to grab some shade, and the children can colour in the Duffy the teddy.

Next we have the United Kingdom :dance3:, where we again didn’t do it justice last time. The Beatles tribute band had just finished playing last time, so it would be fun to see them. The children spent time playing and posing for photos at the telephone boxes. They didn't ring whist we were there though.
We won’t be eating there though, not sure about others, but not a fan of fish and Chips, and I haven’t really looked at the Rose and Crown. We are hoping to bump into the lovely Mary Poppins as we go towards to bridge into France.

Well into France, and I want to spend time taking in all the sites here, the sun was very bright last time, and made for taking photos difficult with the glare. We did impressions de France last time, and thought it was a nice show, so would like to repeat that experience again. Restaurants from France are Bistro de Paris, which I would love to eat at, but they don't have a children's menu:sad2: Chefs de France looked lovely when we passed by last time, and was going to be on the list but not anymore.

Onwards we go into Morocco, and will spend time looking in shops, and taking in everything the place as to offer. The restaurant Marrakesh sounds good, but is not on our list.

Into Japan, and hopefully a different meal here at Teppan Edo. We enjoyed the sites here, and looking forward to it all. I remember Charlotte and Max, running up and down the stairs many times last time, where do they get the energy??

We will move on again into American Adventure, where we would like to see something at the theatre. We sort of just passed through last time, so hopefully we will get to enjoy what it has to offer more next time. I do remember trying a funnel cake here last time, which was not as nice as I thought it was going to be…

Italy next, and hopefully a good show again, last time we saw the dancing and singing sisters, which were quite funny, but that was all we saw of Italy. Hopefully we will spend a little more time next time looking at the shops etc.

On to Germany, and more sights to take in. Again another place we didn’t do much in last time. The restaurant here is Biergarten, not a choice we have made, and not one that takes our fancy really, each to their own hey?

GERPAV_1_998.jpg

Moving on to China, to take in more sites, and hopefully see Refection’s of China, we didn’t catch this last time. Not sure what it is about, but all the same. Restaurants here, Nine Dragons at TS place, and having 4 3 children who don’t particularly like Chinese food is not on our list, and lotus Blossom café for a QS, again Chinese food so doubt we will try it.

Into Norway, and spending time eating Breakfast at Akershus, we ate Dinner here last time, but have decided we would give it another chance, but this time for Breakfast. We enjoyed the little ride here, and no doubt we will go on it again.

The last stop in the showcase is to Mexico, now we never got here last time, as reflections was starting and we stayed by Norway, so looking forward to what it has to offer.

The very last thing to see is Reflections on Earth, it blew me away last time, and so looking forward to seeing it again, it was so spectacular.

Thanks for reading along with me!! hope you enjoyed our wish lists :dance3:

Sorry you'll be missing Test Track :sad2:...BUT it gives you another reason to come back to WDW ;) We love Club Cool! My favorite is the ginger ale from Mozambique :thumbsup2

Hi,
Your plans sound great and that is a lot of food but the restaurant choices are great.

The vow renewal sounds wonderful. We are actually at Fulton's the next day for lunch. That day we will be in Epcot and then watching Air Supply in concert.

I am hoping Test track will come up.

Looking forward to more.

3 weeks in WDW :dance3:

Everything seems to be coming together great for your vow renewals, very beautiful. This is something i've had in mind to do. Maybe at 20 years, we've been married for 14 years so that will give me 6 years to plan(and save) if i start now:rotfl:
