A Dream Come True - 2/6/11 4-day Bahama Cruise

Only 20 days on the ticker....I can't believe it!

My ticker has 25 days since we're flying in the day before the cruise and going to WDW afterward.

I got my Magical Express vouchers for the trip home on Saturday, and they're wrong. The booklet has the correct date, but the actual voucher has the wrong date! I emailed my TA and I'm sure it will all be fixed. Otherwise, I guess I'll just have to stay in Florida forever. Not a bad idea since we have another 6"-12" of snow predicted for tomorrow night.

On the up side--my cable is FINALLY installed and working! It took three different installers, and the one who came yesterday spent nearly three hours, but finally found the problem and got everything working properly.

We just booked our transfers. DH decided on a private car taking us from WDW to the cruise ship early (before magical express) in hopes that we can be in one of the first groups boarding so we can get a reservation for Remy. We tried booking online but all the online spots are filled. We are going to be so bummed if we can't get into Remy.

I keep reading online about people with Remy reservations mad at the upcharge so they aren't going to show up but aren't cancelling their reservation. Arrgghh. Just cancel your reservation so the people who don't mind the upcharge can get a reservation.

I have somehow made it to my age without going to a club. I'm hoping to try and end that streak on this cruise!

Also, my husband has turned into a homebody curmudgeon so I might need help dragging him out. ;(

On my last trip (9/09), Disney ME *never* got my tickets/luggage tags completely straightened out. Well, they got it done enough that I was able to get on board and the luggage tags worked, but I never actually got the correct ticket. My TA said that wasn't that unusual.

This time, though, they got it right. Hooray!

Just think, in four weeks, we'll be ON the ship.

I'm starting to bore my husband with some of the details! I'm trying to convince him that we need to carry alcohol on board. He pointed out that we don't drink a lot. Yes, I argued, but we're allowed, so we should do it. I suggested rum and grenadine.

Thats really rude if there are people that aren't going to show up.

We have our reservations for our anniversary. I'm so excited. We've done the Chef's Table at V&A for our anniversary the first two years.

We are going to try for Palo Brunch when we get on board. We had a reservation for Palo dinner but my husband made me cancel it.

Disney clubs are the best type of clubs too! No sketchy men. At least I always seemed to meet the sketchy men when I went to clubs.

We're goign to pack some alcohol too to save on the expense. Luckily we are driving down so we don't have to worry about how much we have. I'll get some beer cans for my husband, and I'm debating between wine or rum.

It snowed more liked iced here. I tried to drive to work but failed completely going up a hill at the entrance of my neighborhood. I couldn't even get it back up the hill towards my house without calling my husband to help me. 30 minutes later we had the car back home in the garage. Called my boss and he was like ' do whatever you think is best' 2 hours later I get calls that the plant is shut down so yay and to not come in until 9AM tomorrow.

Yeah, well, first I need to get him to leave the room and talk to people he hasn't met already! He's getting really bad at this, which he admitted. When we first were married, he was always complaining that I was the one who never struck up conversation.
