They said on the news Florida is the only state without snow, but I'm not so sure they really looked everywhere!

Yay for you!

No snow day for me today. We had a two hour delayed opening, but I took a half of a sick day and came in after lunch. I spent the morning trying to organize my closet and start getting my vacation things ready! I'm tired of snow now. Even Jim, who used to want to move to Alaska, has had enough of winter for this year.

We started our countdown at 351 days. I can't believe it's almost finished! By the time I get back after vacation there will be another countdown for a cruise next December. We just can't decide which one!

Now we both just need to get over this cold.

22 days! Whoa. Tomorrow is three weeks! WHOA!

I keep thinking about gathering stuff for the cruise that we're not using now, but only at inopportune times. Like, at work. Boss would probably complain if I dropped everything to go home and pack, since it's about 5 miles away.

I took a birthday cruise with my friend in 2009. Her birthday was the day before mine, although she was a couple of years older than I am. Jim didn't have enough vacation time, so it was just the two of us. We had a blast. We took a four-night cruise on Wonder and then went back to WDW for seven nights. A solo or girls-only cruise is a whole different experience from cruising with your significant other!

I've done a girls only cruise before and we had a blast. One of my girlfriends ended up being hit on by one of the bar managers which we ended up working for free drinks (well, more like we would pay for one and then keep getting free refills) I think we barely left that certain bar the entire cruise.

See, and I'm not doing it because I'm always That Person. You know, That Person who always ends up with the gifter who puts in half the effort? If it's a $10 limit, everyone else gets $15 gifts and I get the $8 one.

We just booked our transfers. DH decided on a private car taking us from WDW to the cruise ship early (before magical express) in hopes that we can be in one of the first groups boarding so we can get a reservation for Remy. We tried booking online but all the online spots are filled. We are going to be so bummed if we can't get into Remy.

I keep reading online about people with Remy reservations mad at the upcharge so they aren't going to show up but aren't cancelling their reservation. Arrgghh. Just cancel your reservation so the people who don't mind the upcharge can get a reservation.
