You always get such good pics on the inside of rides!! Mine never come out, unless I use the flash. I know, big no no -- don't yell at me. I don't do it if people are around us, which is most of the time. This past trip I *may* have yelled at someone on the HM b/c of they were using the flash. For the whole ride. Taking video. Wasn't my finest moment, but it got my point across.

Anyway--- did you get wet at all on Splash with your ponchos on? When we were there the next week they didn't have the big water cannon shooting so we never got soaked.

Did you like the new Blackbeard mist in POTC? I wasn't a fan of it. Belle said he wasn't scary enough-- Davey Jones creeps her out, yet she loves it.

The non-existant crowds that night were awesome! I think you chose a great night for MK!!!

Blackbeard and Davy Jones are both now in the waterfall mist at DL. I think I heard that change is coming to WDW in the next refurb.

And I abhor anyone who takes flash pictures on dark rides! And please turn off your blinky light necklaces and toys too!

The headless horseman only shows up for the party. He goes by quick. The announcement and the expectation is a lot longer than his actual appearance. LOL! But it is still cool.

Next we went over to Main Street to take some pictures and get some snacks and hang out until Wishes started at 9.

Main Street is so awesome at night!!

We went into the Main Street Confectionery to see what goodies they had.

After Wishes we decided to take the boat back to the Poly instead of the monorail. The boat was full when we got there so we had to wait on the next one. Which seemed like forever. I don't know if they weren't running enough boats or if they were held up because of the Electric Water Pageant or what. Eventually we got on a boat, then it stopped at the GF, and then the Poly. It was about 9:50 when we got back to the Poly. We were hoping to be able to check out the night offerings in the lounge, but knew they were closing at 10. We went in and there were only a few things left. Several people had come in right when we did and were asking if there was more of this and that and they said they were all out. That was surprising. I know it was late, but jeesh!

So our bedtime snack was very small!

When we got back to the room this chocolate post card & note was waiting for us!

Yeah, DH really wanted pretzels to go with his beer. He asked and they said all they had in the back was yogurt covered pretzels. Not really what he had in mind.

You can come off of Splash completely dry or soaking wet!! It's completely random. Last November DS and I rode it and came down the big drop and didn't get a single drop of water on us. Then we rounded the corner towards the end of the ride and a water cannon went off and completely drenched us head to toe and the people in the seat ahead of us were dry!

You don't get soaked by any means in the 3D shows, but be prepared to get a little spray. Philharmagic for sure. Muppet Vision as well I think. You can also get a little spray on Big Thunder Mtn RR.

Ok thanks. Not planning either of those shows and Thunder Mtn will be closed for refurbishment So we should be alright. We will have a stroller, so I can just throw the ponchos under that and then we will have them if need be

Yep - just be sure to wear the ponchos on Splash and you should be fine!

The castle show was nice. I didn't think it was anything spectacular, but it was neat.

Yeah, I was really surprised by the time it took to get back to the Poly after Wishes. I know we have taken the bus and been back to CBR, POR, and BWI in less time than that!

But yeah, at least DH was able to grab a beer (or two) before the lounge closed!

Ok, please tell me what the castle projection show is? Somehow me missed that and I'm not exactly sure what they do. Are the pictures from PP that were taken that day or something else?

We had a similar experience waiting on the boat going to the Poly. IT TOOK FOREVER!!! And we were trying to get to an ADR, so it was stressful. We'll take the monorail next time!

Looked like a really nice evening. Is there anything better than watching Wishes?

I loved reading about your MK night! I love Wishes, it's so special. We only got to see Holiday Wishes this trip, but that was just as fantastic! That's too bad about the Poly not having much dessert out when you got back. We were lucky at the GF this trip and everything was replenished, even at 9:50PM when we got back one night.
Sorry I haven't posted much lately...work has been so busy, and on top of Christmas shopping and everything else...we are getting a puppy on Saturday! We are very excited. It is bittersweet, because we all (especially DD20) really miss our dog who passed away in May. As you know, we still have another dog who is one year old, so we are excited for him to have a play mate!
