A Dole Whip in my hand & my toes in the sand: CBR/Poly Split Stay – This Is The Life!

We took Beverly pictures too on our trip last year, and they are never flattering but always hilarious! :lmao:

And that is a great deal for your necklace! I found the one that I was looking for at Disneystore.com, but people keep saying its really big and that's not what I am going for. So, I found another one that I like :thumbsup2 Of course :rolleyes1

This may be random - but did you remember seeing this one while you were there? I'll be able to look next week, but I want to be prepared to buy it if I see it :thumbsup2

Okay....need help here. Can someone explain to me the vinlymation?? Is there a point other than trading? Is it like pins? I keep hearing about it, but don't truely get it. :confused3

Ahh, Beverly. YUCK!!! :) We tricked DS into trying it last time. I so wish I'd gotten a picture.

I'm not even sure what the Vinylmations are all about! :upsidedow They are just everywhere at WDW right now. In every character and color you can think of. Some are very expensive. And there are places you can trade them, but you can't see what you are getting when you trade. So it's risky! The kids didn't trade any for that reason.

Hmm....I don't particularly remember seeing that one. But they have so many. I'm sure you'll be able to find one you love! :goodvibes

Awesome update! That was a great first day! I love Mouse Gears!! I seem to have really good luck there.
We have not managed to actually stop in Club Cool EVER! We've walked past on our way to other things, so I think I'll have to give it a try next time. Sarah won't usually drink soda, but Paige will definitely go for it!

We got the freshly made caramel-corn this time, but it tasted stale to us. :confused3 Make sure to get the prepackaged bags of caramel/choc popcorn to take home! We just finished our last bag last night.

How much is it a bag if you don't mind me asking?

LOL! I love the Beverly photos! :cool1: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Thanks Sea! :lmao:

Thanks Sheree! They have lots of great stuff in Mouse Gear!!

You've never been to Club Cool??? You've got to stop in there next time. My kids always ask to go! :rotfl:

The fresh caramel-corn comes in 2 sizes I think...The one we got was a small I think and it was a snack credit on the DDP, so it was under $4.

The prepackaged caramel/choc popcorn is $7.95 a bag. Expensive, but well worth it! :cloud9:

Shelly, have you checked out the Pittsburgh Popcorn Company when you come down towards the city? There are 2 locations, one in the strip district and one in downtown on Liberty. They have AWESOME caramel chocolate corn there and it might be close to what they have in Disney. :thumbsup2
I haven;t been in the caramel store yet, so I don't know. But it's really good either way! :cool1:

No, we've never been there. But I remember you talking about it before. It sure looks good!! We need to get down there ASAP! :thumbsup2

Thanks! :rotfl:

My DS10 loves club cool too! It must be a boy thing. I agree some of the sodas are just plain GROSS.
And Spaceship Earth is one of both DS's favorite rides. They love making funny faces for the make your future video. We must have gone on that ride like 6x this trip. LOL

Enjoying the trip report! Subbing Loved the pic of your DS in a hat in Mouse Gears. If I had a dime for every picture I have of my DS or myself in a kooky Disney hat I'd be rich! I'm never tempted to buy them (where would I wear them??) but we sure love taking each other's pictures in them. :santa:pirate:princess::firefight:crazy::jester: - just some of the smiles I could find wearing hats:rotfl:

Your day was so pack full of things, I forgot it was your arrival day and that you had been up since 4am!

Day 2 – Saturday August 27

After a good night's sleep we were up early and ready to get to MK!! We had a 10:20 ADR for breakfast at Crystal Palace, so our goal was to get lots done before then. We arrived around 8:30 and had a great spot right up front for the opening show. It was pretty hot out already, but not terrible yet. I think it was going to be around 94 that day.

And pretty soon it was time to head in! There seemed to be a lot of people there, but once everybody spread out it was actually not a busy day at all! :cool1:

After Peter Pan we normally hit IASW next, but we decided to skip it this day. So next up was Philharmagic. I just love this show!! We walked in and we were the only ones waiting for the doors to open. Eventually about 2 other families joined us for the show and that was it!

The show was very cool of course and it was neat to practically have it to ourselves!

Up Next: Tomorrowland

I  these! I feel like I am right there with you! How cool that you were just strolling down Main Street with Tiana! I wanna do that! And the picture of you and DH needs to be in frame! It's just one of those pics that totally captures the magic! :wizard:

I see DH opted for the backpack over the fanny pack :rotfl:

You got great pictures on PP! :worship: I have never accomplished that!!! Love that ride though! And an almost private showing of Philharmagic... AWESOME! That is my very, very favorite! I can't get enough of that show! :3dglasses

You have so convinced me to get my hiney in gear and get to rope drop at MK!

Great update! I'm DISing from work...don't tell anyone!
I love rope drop at MK. We missed it last time we were at WDW because the bus to MK from the BWI took forever to show up! I'm so excited to stay at the GF, since all we have to do is hop on the monorail!
Love that picture of you and DH walking towards the castle! It came out really nice.
Have a good day!:goodvibes

:love::love::love:
Great update!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe Tiana was walking down Main St right next to you guys! I LOVE her!! She is just the sweetest thing- that accent is precious. Belle is going to be totally jealous that you guys did that. I'm sure it wasn't that big of a deal to your boys.:lmao: Can't wait to show her the pics.

Looks like you were off to a great day at MK!!! :cloud9::cloud9:

A-woo-woo, I'm tellin'!!!!!!:rotfl:

I'm so excited that you are staying at the GF too!!:cool1: Hopping the monorail to the MK- there is nothing better than that! We loved going outside on the days we weren't going to a park and listening to the opening show at the MK. Love to hear that train whistle.

Great pictures..as usual!! Love the one of you and hubs!! Very precious! I can NOT wait!! We usually dont hit RD-I think we have made it to the actual song & dance thing at MK once and that is it for any park! I really want to make it to our first MK day, and our HS day at least this time....How does the "let the magic begin" and the big photo holder seem to you? Is it too much...I mean, is it gaudy? I can't tell from the pictures...I really thought it would be more stuff for the 40th anniv and have pics or memorabilia with opening day photos if anything....
