A DisneyWorld Lifer is going to Disneyland-the saga ends...

You knew Harlem would change the day Clinton rented office space there ;)

That badger-o-yours could use a toothbrush :teeth:

Hey Grim! Lok for a UPS envelope fromme real soon...

I got me a cute little something and decided to share it with Miss Piper~

You'll know it when it gets there, I really hope you all enjoy it...

and no, I am not going to tell you what it is but not to worry, I saved a couple copies of it for myself princess:

save it to yor desktop and then upload it into photobucket, then copy the properties and post it here as an image.

got all that? :3dglasses

Won't work. This is the error message I get from Photobucket:The file "ValentinesRatCard.pdf" does not have a valid image extension.
Valid image extensions are: gif, jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, swf.

My next attempt would be to try to open it in an editing program and save it as a jpg

or you can email it to me and I'll try to convert it for you :)

Just to keep this thread on topic...

I've been reading about every ride in both parks and still intend to hit every one!

I've also been mentally taking notes about the layout of the area...you see-for those of you who don't know me yet, I specialize in sunrise and sunset photographs. I saw a sunset shot beyond the paradise pier and fully intend to get some of my own there. I have to make notes of what time sunset is in May primarily because DCA closes so early.

I am currently using Nikon D50 digital SLR and have my monopod and tripod to take to Cali with me, this is going to be an awesome photographic opportunity. Too bad Fantasmic will be down for our trip :(

When'd you get a new camera?

grim pirate:

I didn't, it belongs to my boss...he bought it cause I was taking all is promo shots and my P&S just wasn't cutting it...

It's a Niiiice Camera, he lets me keep it with me, I took it to NC with us this past summer~I can't *wait* to use it in Cali~

Hey there!!! :yay: I'm finally caught up! Phew! I look away for just a little while and POOF...all new Pre-TR's are up and progressing page by page without me!

I'm so excited for you with this Cali trip! I haven't been to DL since I was probably 6 or so, so it's a big must-do on our list for sometime in the next year or two!

Glad to be along for this ride! I want pictures...lots of pictures and no details are too small!!!:surfweb:

I'll be along for this ride!!!:thumbsup2

Awesome - I hear good things about the D50.

grim pirate:

It's not quite what you carry Grim but it is waaaay better than what I had.

I lost way too many good shots because of overexposure from the flash and blurred images cause my olympus couldn't focus on em...

My boss has the money to spend on this stuff, you should see the video camera he bought for the shop. Can you say hi def digital imagery?

I am glad he trusts me and knows how much I am into photography to let me use his camera whenever I want.

Yay! Lauralee's Here!

Welcome aboard!

You want pictures? Oh, that'll be easy...

The details? I'm working on that. I still haven't worked out the dining plan. I know Blue Bayou is a must, ADRs for that start at 60 days out.

We were going to do the Fantasmic Dessert package, but thanks to the new Pirate Island, Fantasmic will be down for a while.

Nan is still working on getting us into Club 33, from what I'm told-we'll know when she knows if we can get in.

I was thinking of trying a Character Meal there but have to actually decide on one. We have free "breakfast" at the hotel so I am planning on lunch being our big meal of the day (late lunch to avoid the crowds of course) and then lite dinners each night wherever we want to hit some counter service.

I've been so involved in reading about the parks I haven't gotten to the restaurant detail yet.

I am also helping plan the Magicmeet, so I spent most of yesterday talking to my volunteers and the head organizer. *btw-If anyone is coming to this the payment window should be opening any day now*

so....welcome aboard and enjoy the ride, I hope it's a good one~

Yes, yes I can. I had to get an HD video camera when Piper was born :rolleyes1

grim pirate:

I bet you did ::yes::

I've been wanting to update some Cali planning but am still working on organizing my volunteers for the Magicmeet in July and haven't had a chance to even glance at my Disneyland guide :(

Work is coming into play lately too, new product for spring has started to arrive and I am already ordering for Fall and Holiday. March 12th and 13th John (DH) and I are going to stay in Atlantic City while I visit with all the sales people at the convention center. DH and I aren't gamblers but we love the beach and we love to eat out and tour the local shops when we are there.

sorry for the delay folks...I will have to come up with my dining list soon tho if I want to start making ADR's at the 60 day mark huh?...well, maybe not TOO soon...;)

:yay: I'm excited FOR you!! Ok, and a little jealous too:rolleyes1

And ooooh...Pirate Island...I really MUST spend some time coming up with a plan (oh yeah, and the money too) to go...we said we were gonna go in 07, then it became 08...:sad2: Somewhere we need to squeeze a cruise in...maybe we can combine with a west coast cruise...

Ahhhhh....if only....

Hi there! Disneyland lifer checking in! I'm enjoying all your pre-trip planning. Especially this line:

I want to see Compton.
:rotfl2:
Aisling, you do not want to see Compton. However, I will give you a little bit of "hood" trivia, if you will. If you are arriving via LAX and take the 105 freeway to the Anaheim area, you will pass a huge housing complex known as Knickerson Gardens. This is a notoriously violent area run by the local gangs. You can't miss and you can technically "See Compton" from afar.:thumbsup2

I'd be happy to help you, if you have any questions!:goodvibes
