A DisneyWorld Lifer is going to Disneyland-the saga ends...

we should be in town with plenty of time for dessert...and I'll dish on 33 after I get back from school with the kids.

I called Aisling....she is so in for Dland in may with us (Yipee!!!!) now how to get you all to come on west repo....I will not give up the fight. but I have to confess. I booked after the rate increases, paul is not happy with me sleeping in today...it cost me 2.5K :scared1:

he is also not happy about 2 cruises in one year. I should tell him that we could be doing one in 2006 and one in 2007, so in fact we are just short one...follow my logic? He used that ugly r word..."retirement"

can't we just win the lotto already?

it was $250 per person for deposit for NYE...we got the same room...8558....

I'm so in on the Fantasmic! Dessert Buffet. Ressies for 3, please!

Now I'm off to make a couple of siggie countdown clocks!!!

We've got 3 day park hopper passes and I intend to hit every ride in both parks before I go home. My crew also plans on visiting Universal Hollywood, Sea World, and the San Diego Zoo before we go home. I am an avid photographer and will bring back lotsa pics to go with my story, I hope I haven't board you all to death already...I am just so ready for this trip! :cool1:
Where is Legoland?

It was an easy drive somewhere between San Diego and Anaheim. We started off in San Diego and as we were driving straight to Anaheim.. Legoland is between the 2 of them.. great park.. loved it! Enjoy!:goodvibes

Thanks Robin...

we are actually doing the opposite, I'm mapping out our drive-Rose is the driver, I tend to be navigator on all my trips...but that's ok, I like it that way~

T:

Between Legoland and Sea World you made the right choice.

Legoland is cool (wilson loves it) (molly not so much) but the Sea World experience is not to be missed.

Check into the private meal dinning with Shamu. We had a breakfast for Wilson's bday when we went. Also there is a dolphin swim with adventure. Of course like everything these book up quickly, but I know you are queen on that account.

we are headcount 13?

Let's agree on who will try to get fantasmic seats. Are you game to try this since it's earlier in your zone than mine and you know I love to sleeeppppp(it's only on the phone) you can use my AP # and be me if you want to. I'll even offer to put it on my credit card for ease, then everyone can pay me back. let me know if that sounds ok to you? I think Piper is a lap baby, so I would think she wouldn't be a ticket, but be sure to check....also, it isn't offered everynight....and this is a very crowded weekend ya know that right?

must get ready for a meeting, new client, have to pay for these darn cruises....

Nan, are you gonna stay at the GC? If so, you can just call or email Guest Services (think that's what it's called) and let them know you want 13 tickets, and they'll get them the day they are available (30 days out). That's what I did last time. No muss, no fuss.

I also read that Piper won't need a ticket.

Grim: GC, regular room? or Concierge? I'll call now and see what there is availble, but I think we may have to stay Bwestern....Paul is grumbbing after me booking those darn crusies....

I can call for everybody, if you don't book GC

I can even use your cc if you want~does AP get a discount?

I still can't get used to being "T"

I looked at the list and saw SRB and thought, who's T? :duck:

that's right, I am slightly inept in the common sense department ;)

We have plenty of time to organize that piece~

I will most definitely choose Sea World over Legoland, the idea of seeing it is kinda cool but Rose, Brittany and Stef are all more Sea World kinda people rather than Lego people....now if it were hubby and DS coming, that could've been different.

Do you know how lont it took me to figure out what this "code" meant? The worst part, after I got it, I couldn't figure out who the hell ACJ3 was! That's me!

More pre-trip details, Madame OP! Thanks!;)

Just tell me how much, and the $$$$ will be on the way!

$60 per person (extra - that does't include park admission

We will have to book at 30 days out, last time I looked the calendar for our dates wasn't out yet. Once that is out we will know if we can get this for the first night or later...

I actually spent my morning putting together some Magicmeet details. I am in charge of the staff and have to coordinate all my volunteers. The meet isn't until July 14th but alot of the background stuff is in full swing now.

I am waiting for Southwest to publish our May dates and DL to publish the rest of their May calendar to finish my pre-trip itinerary....

Allow me to introduce, most of the characters in this story...

ChristmasGroupShot.jpg

In the center back row, my dd is center stage...her Grandmother is to her right. In Grandmom's place will be best friend's Mom, Rose. Stefanie is immediately to my dd's left.

I hope my friend's do not mind my using their given names...

Molly, Dede, Jill (being replaced by Rose), Brittany, Stefanie, Aisling, Colleen (me), Nan, bottom row left is John, Jesse, Wilson, Chad and Paul.

These are my friends. We met on the DIS, we cruised together for Christmas in 2005, we sat together for dinner every night on the Magic for 7 straight days and we are all seeing each other after a year and a half for the first time since the cruise.

This is gonna be fun!

Ok...I saw what calendar is there...

First set of news, the DL premier for POTC III will most likely be the evening of May 19th. DL is closing early for a special event and I am quite sure it's for the premier ::yes::

Second...Fantasmic is scheduled for refurb while we are there :(

No Fantasmic Dessert package for us folks ...

Third, I just looked at how far apart our hotels are. Aisling, we are clear across the complex from each other...but then again, we got cell phones, we will manage.

Fourth, I even looked into pricing us staying at DH instead of BWPP. Sorry, DH is twice the amount the Best Western will cost us. We are definitely staying at the BW.

We are in walking distance of each other, it's very different than WDW....I'm still thinking of GCA, but doubt it, since it's Memorial day weekend I bet they are sky high...just haven't had the time to call yet.

That's good to hear...I know they say it's close, I am happy to have you confirm just how close.

As far as the GCH, for May 27 to 30th? How's $1800 sound? That's what I just got off DL's site.

wow.

I like your new sig Nan, I thought we'd lost you...you did say you were hanging out with your new friends quite a bit lately~

I've read suggestions that we try the restaurant Napa Rose...

do you all have any other suggestions for dinners while we are there?
