Hi All

I am Katrina and I decided to do a trip report on my recent trip to WDW in October 2005. Now I may not be an adult, but I am just as crazy Disney Fanatic as my mother, who was the one who had the whole idea of Disney. :goodvibes Here are the Chapters:

Chapter 1: Pre-Trip The Booking of Disney and Countdown
Chapter 2: More Pre-Tripness Closer and Counting
Chapter 3: Leaving Vermont and headed to Florida
Chapter 4: The Arrival: Our half of a day in MK
Chapter 5: Finally! Epcot Adventures
Chapter 6: A Thrilling day MGM today
Chapter 7: Taking another vist to MK
Chapter 8: The last day, AK and Epcot
Chapter 9: The Bidding Goodbye to the World
Chapter 10: The Journey is over, flying home

Well those are my 10 chapters I will be typing up. And without further notice, Chapter 1! :Pinkbounc

It seemed like a normal, cold March night here in Vermont. I had just came out of the shower brushing my teeth when I saw the computer room door shut. My mom and dad were inside and I heard my mom screaming, a happy scream. What could this mean? The last time my mom screamed like that was when I got a 99% on a Math Test. "Wha-" I stopped in my tracks after opening the door. On my dad's computer the Disney webpage was open and he just scrolled down to where it said, "Congratulations, you have succesfully booked your Disney Trip!" (or something like that) I started screaming jumping up and down, trying not to wake my brother up. "I thought you said you couldn't afford Disney this year dad!" I said hugging my mom. He grinned turning off his computer, "Sometimes you just have to have a little Disney Magic" pixiedust:

Me- princess: 11 year old who is in love with Disney. Me and my best friend Alyssa just can't stop talking about it! Also the Princess of the crew.

Timothy (Brother)- :moped: A 7 year old boy who loves to make loud noises and to travel. On a Disney Trip when he was 3 years old he tried to speak to a boy who spoke another language at the airport by just going "chong ching cho" :rotfl2:

Jackie (Mom)- :3dglasses A Disney Freak who torments herself whenever we are going on a Disney Trip

Timothy (Dad)- pirate: A kind loving Dad who really makes the Disney Magic happen

So what seemed like forever we were finally in the month of September. Sure, me and my brother were back to school but in a month we would be going to Disney. My mom was always playing Disney music in the car and sent me and my brother to school with Disney shirts. On Spirt Week, Crazy Hat Day, my mom sent me to school in my brother's Goofy hat. It looked even more Goofy because it hardly fit my head. So the excitement was really getting to our heads, but September would fly by like that.. :cloud9:

Thanks for posting your pretrip report - sounds like you have a fun family and this is going to be a great report!! Can't wait for more (we love hearing from family members esp kids :thumbsup2 )

Thanks for all the support guys. It really got me pumped to write the 2nd chapter. Yes, this chapter is very short but the next one will be longer :mickeyjum

The days had been approching closer now. When Months turned into weeks, which turned into days. Finally after about an 170 day wait, we were down to 3 days :earseek: Now it seemed like it was coming too fast. Still being fairly cold here in Vermont, my mom was digging out our Summer clothing and asking us to try on clothes to see if they fit. With our bad luck, only about half of the stuff fit :rotfl: My mom, now panicking that she didn't have enough clothes decided to run out to Target. :moped:

Then to make it even worse my brother, wanting to try on all of his summer clothes, was running around our house, knocked into the Dining Room table, and Hot Chocolate splatered all over his shorts and t-shirt. The brand new one's my mom had just run out to get. Glass was shattered on the floor, brother's clothing ruined, Mom furious :furious: My dad said not to worry though and that we could always buy a t-shirt at Disney. Good ol' dad, always thinking ahead  With only a couple days to go, I was hoping the magic my dad was talking about was going to happen soon pixiedust:

You are a great writer. You sure don't write like a 5th grader or at a 4th grade reading level. I did the math on your paragraph and sentences and you are coming out at an 8th grade reading and writing level.

I hope you continue your report.

Thank you and that's surprising since I am only in the 6th Grade. Ah well, I've been reading ever since about age three. Thanks again for calculating princess:

I felt like I was on the top of the world, dropping, dropping.....

Flash! I groaned as my mom snapped a photo of me just waking up. I was going to Disney, but waking up at 4:30 wasn't so exciting at first. I yawned putting on the clothes my mom had gotten for me. I walked downstairs, goosebumps all over me, covering myself in a blanket as my Mom and Dad were packing and loading up the limo. I smiled, hardly beleiving that in a matter of hours, I'd be in The Happiest Place on Earth :wizard: .

My mom carried my sleeping brother downstairs as she threw us in the limo, said goodbye to our dog :dog2: , as we headed to the airport. I now started to awaken seeing the limo had multicolored lights that shifted colors and a TV. Too bad the airport was only 45 minutes away  .

My mom kept talking to us about Carribean Beach Resort and how we were going to love it. I looked out the window and tried to picture Vermont, because we weren't going to see it for awhile.

When we arrived at the airport I walked out feeling hyper :hyper: and cold :cold: at the same time. I walked inside feeling relief as me and my brother raced each other to the Orlando gate. We were wearing our Disney shirts from last year and our Mickey ears. We had our Disney rolling backpacks and we clutched onto our Lighting up Neaklaces (you know, the ones you can but at Spectro-Magic) :earsboy: :earsgirl:

"How long do we have to waaaait!" my brother moaned. We had been sitting in the airport for about an hour now. "Soon Timmy, just wait" my mother said trying to spread the Disney Magic. Well, right now I was hyped, with boarding time around the corner, we can kiss Vermont goodbye and say hello to Magic!

Me and my brother kept watching plaines. We kept guessing if it was ours, we were flying Delta SONG. Finally when 6:00 rolled around they said we could board the plaine. We presented our tickets, grabbed our ear-phones and ventured onto the plaine. I was feeling so excited right now :woohoo: . I plugged in my earphones while I listened to all the Saftey things, what not. And we took off!

I started listening to music right away, to keep my mind off of my ears popping :listen: . After I got bored of that I looked at the Map. Wow we were only flying over New York?! I took off my earphones and searched the plaine. I spotted other families with Disney Maps, trying to plan where they were going for the day. I smiled and looked out the window. We were flying over a beutiful cloud, it felt as if I could just lay on it :cloud9: . I glanced over to the aisle next to where me, my mom, and my brother were sitting. My Dad was fast asleep. Sweet dreams Dad, because you'll wake up to Florida soon

I was there in October too. I love to hear what other people saw that I missed! I'm going again this Oct. too, so you will be giving me good ideas I bet. :cheer2:

Wonderful report and I see you are heading back to Disney soon! Have fun!

I can't wait until your plane lands and we can hear about how much fun you had.

Thanks for posting!

You are doing a fantastic job and I can tell how excited you were to finally be going. can't wait to see what you think of the hotel and which park you all chose first :thumbsup2

Sorry, long time no speak. I just had a blast on my May trip  Anyway, back to the report....

"Were landing! Were Landing!" My brother screamed as the plaine haulted to a stop. Me and my brother started hopping up and down. Finally, Disney was here :woohoo: . As we exited the plane, we got to ride on the monorail. Me and my brother thought it was the best thing in the world. "Just wait utill Disney guys" Is all my mom could say  .
Now, us being new to Disney Magical Express we were looking for where it was. We saw other visiters with Boarding Passes so we followed them untill we saw the bus :listen: .
Even the bus seemed Magical. But since the regular DVD was not working we watched old cartoons on the way to CBR. I looked out the window and wished I had lived in Florida insted of Vermont. My dad saw how excited I was so he propped my golden Mickey Ears on my head and said, "It's just begining :cloud9: "
"What, were here?!" Is all I could say we were getting off of DME and heading in for Check-in. Luckily, we had taken an early flight so it was basically empty. We checked in, got our cards, and headed to MK.
As soon as we got on the bus to MK my brother was jumping up and down entertaining the whole bus. What a comedian :rotfl: . I could see the Castle and I just smiled wanting to join my brother in jumping :Pinkbounc .

To be Continued....
