Instead of a Kodak moment, had a Disney one this morning with something my daughter said~!
I'm going to MNSSHP ast Malificent, son (7) as Captain Hook, daughter (10) as Sorcerer Mickey and Dad as Grumpy in an orange Grumpy t-shirt and Grumpy signature cap. I know I'll feel silly dressed up but hoping my kids cherish the memories in years to come. Sarah (age 10) told me today the Malificent costume was sooooooooo neat for me to NEVER get rid of it and save it for her so she can wear when she takes HER kids to WDW one day~! It has a silky dragon look & feel to it~! Now that is what those Disney Dreams commercials and Magical Moments & Gatherings are all about~! My kids really love their trips and I love it and I know others think we're nuts for going so often these past few years but they just don't understand~!!!! I bought for the first morning giftie when they wake up they'll have a big 20" Dracula Mickey for Sarah and big 20" or thereabouts Frankenstein Goofy for Steven (he LOVES Goofy and can even do a pretty good imitation of him with his "gawrsh Mickey" in the Halloween Disney shopping bags that have several kids dressed up and say "Who Do You Want to Be?", the nice CM at the Disney Store gave me several in each size along with 24 Disney envelopes for the Disney Dollars, prob can't find Disney themed Halloween gift wrap like I can for the Christmas trips from the Disney Store for their gifts from Tinkerbell each morning when they wake up, (we've done that for the past 5 trips and harder to come up with "equal" gifts so doing Disney Dollars and gifts only a few of the other days. Also some DVD's that I would have bought anyway, Home on the Range and the new Three Mousekateers or is it Muskateers each on another morning but the others it will be the Disney dollars each day AND we still do the Disney character chocolate coins under their pillow each night~! They LOVE that, and when we return from the parks they go digging under all the pillows, I do Mom and Dad too but let kids eat them, so Dad takes them to ice machine or something while I slip them under pillows~! Cheap but memorable little extra touches~!
Oh yea this trip I'm going to dig out my Disney Beanie Babies, have the first set of 10 or however many there were (should have sold them when they were going for the BIG BUCKS) and let the kids decorate our room and hopefully Mousekeeping will arrange them and those two new biggie Halloween ones on the bed each day. We've seen where lots of rooms decorate the ledge in their window and I think from the photos I looked at of the mansions at Port Orleans Riverside they have nice size bay windows~! woo hoo just found Hippie Minnie & Mickey . . . . should have taken them when we stayed at the 60's building at POP Century back in May~! Oh well can't think of everything every trip. Found a few others I forgot about too, Bride & Groom Mickey & Minnie so about 20 or so of them~!
