Oh cool!! I'm 19 too. My BF will be 20 in Nov. I'll be 20 in Dec. Congrats!!

Are you planning a disney wedding? I'm not sure I could make an engagement for 3-4 years! I'd be too desperate.

That will be so fun! I want to have one as well, but I'm taking my BF for the first time to Disney in the spring to introduce him to it. He's only been to Disneyland once so, this will be a big treat for him.

I also want to have a disney wedding, and I've expressed interest with my family but they're not really digging it. They think its lame. I wholeheartedly disagree. But we'll see.

BTW, was your family excited about the proposal?

Ohmy, they knew about it in July. When he bought the ring!!!

We took him to Disney for his (I think) 3rd time. He hadn't been in 10 years.

Even my super-religious grandma was excited. And she believes in waiting for commitment. Everyone in my family loves him. It's awesome!

So, this past weekend, my boyfriend proposed!

What makes it amazing is the ring. He can't afford a real diamond ring at the time, so he got me a sterling silver and cubic zirconium ring in the shape of Mickey, which he got when we were there with my family in July.

I thought it was totally awesome.

We really want a Disney Wedding, it's been my dream forever! He was against it until we took him in July. Now he's totally for it! And honeymoon is almost for sure. I just want the bride ears!!!

As for the rest of the details, all I know is that my dad is making my dress! He's amazing at sewing. I'm picking out all these bits and pieces of dresses that I like and he'll make his own version. Plus many packages of Swarovski crystals spilling down the bodice.

I'm having WAY too much fun with this already, and it's 3 1/2 years away!
