I can tell you that I have heard Hamill speaking and could listen to him, and Frank Oz for hours (went to both their talks during SWW) if you have tickets already I would just attend Galactic Nights and attend the Sunday talk. You don't want to be late for GN, there will be so many things to do that you will want to line up early for them
I've pretty much reached the conclusion I'll have to skip Mark's Friday panel. It's a shame there is the clash of events but realistically I know I can't do both. I'm really looking forward to GN and I don't want to miss any of it. I did get to see Mark's panel at Celebration Europe last year and hopefully I'll be able to get a wristband for his panel on the Sunday this year.

Darn I didn't even think of this. I wonder if I could come to the panel dressed and ready to go and then immediately hightail it to an uber...

You certainly could. Just saying people will get in line for GN things as soon as allowed in ( supposed to be 5pm) personally I'm grabbing a spot for the motorcade, others will go for bb8 or the first show at the Indiana Jones stage

I am all about Mark Hamill. So, can someone tell me a little more. I went to the very first Celebration which was obviously worlds different than they are now. What time would I line up to get wrist bands to Mark's panels (from what I'm reading, since he's on Celebration stage, do I go at 5 am and get wristband then for those)? I too have Galactic Night tickets but think I might just be late because MARK HAMILL. Also, how early do you need to get in line for photos/autographs (even if you pre-ordered)? Thanks so much. SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!! <3

I was wondering if anyone on here has met a lot of the actors at Celebration before. Hearing about your experiences meeting them might help me decide who I want to meet.

Tiya and Ashley are both listed as being part of the recently added Heroines panel, so that's the whole cast of Rebels there for at least part of the convention.

Me being me, I'm skipping actors to track down as many members of the Story Group and the .com team as I can. I've already basically outsourced the Exhibit Hall to BF so I can go to panels, but the recent Saturday additions are going to force me to make some very difficult choices!

This is my first Celebration but here are the actors I've met during Star Wars Weekends, all of them, with the exception of Anthony Daniel, were very nice, some right down awesome
Anthony Daniel (full of himself, would not sign anything other than his 8x10 black and white, mabe he was having an off day?)
Billy Dee Williams (very polite but quiet, still nice)
Daniel Logan (the sweetest of kids, super funny and a flirt)
Jeremy Bulloch (nice but also was a bit quiet the last time we met him, maybe he was getting tired)
Temuera Morrison (funny and loves to chat)
Peter Mayhew (very fast signer, doesn't interact much)
Matthew Wood (probably one of my favorite SW people I've met, spends tons of time with you)
Ray Park (an amazing guy, really takes time to chat with you)
San Witwer (quiet but nice, didn't interact much)
Steve Blum (amazing guy, super funny, loves to do voices while talking to you)
Taylor Gray (great kid, not as awesome as Daniel Logan)
Tim Rose (polite, very little talk, more to the point)
Vanessa Marshall (a sweet lady, she took the time to talk)
Not sure if Ashley Eckstein or Tiya Sircar are signing, they were just announced for a panel but both are them are awesome to meet as well.
Like I said all of these were during Star Wars Weekends, sad that James Arnold Taylor is not coming, he was another awesome person to meet

Thanks for the reply! I know I'm only gonna have a few seconds with actors, but I want to pick the people I'll get the most enjoyment out of meeting since it's so expensive. You've convinced me to check out a few people who I otherwise wouldn't have.

Ashley is signing at the Penguin Audio Books booth, so she isn't an official Star Wars Celebration Autograph Hall guest. I'm expecting she's signing at the booth when she isn't doing panels. Definitely want to get her autograph if at a reasonable price. Tiya looks to be announced in the next round of Autograph Hall guests. Maybe, she's signing somewhere else on the show floor.

It hurts my heart but we are also going to miss Mark Hamill's Tribute to Carrie cause we have GN tickets, BUT we are going to for sure see Hamill Himself panel at 1 pm on Sunday!

Hamill Himself panel is Sunday at 1 pm as well...

Because of my involvement with the 501st my husband and I have had the pleasure of meeting a lot of SW actors, both at conventions like any other attendees, to actually being involved with them at events.

Here's my take on some of those attending:

Riz Ahmed - will be meeting him for the first time at SWC Orlando :)
Jeremy Bulloch - Serenely nice man, very quiet and shy.
Anthony Daniels - Nicknamed "Your Highness" by a few of us whom have dealt with him and he truly believes it.
Sarah Michelle Gellar - will be meeting him for the first time at SWC Orlando :)
Taylor Gray - will be meeting him for the first time at SWC Orlando :)
Mark Hamill - and absolute doll, sincerely loves his fans, and sincerely cares... so fun to chat with.
Brian Herring - What a very cool guy, been a puppeteer for a very long time but with BB-8 bringing him into the spotlight he is so not used to being recognized, very excited and very nice! Very fun to talk about details of how things were done, and chatting with him is super interesting.
Vanessa Marshall - Truly awesome lady, truly a pleasure to talk to, LOVES LOVES Star Wars, and is so giddy to be a part of the SW family... and you will note her prices are reasonable because she feels guilty for charging money for photos and autographs, seriously she does, and winced the first time she ever told me her prices.
Peter Mayhew - That kind tilt of the head, the endearing lovable nature of our favorite wookie is ALL PETER, he is such a sweet man and his wife is adorable!
Ian McDiarmid - Very nice but very professional, he is really good to fans on the clock... but that's his day job... he likes his quiet time, he's not mean about it but he is a person, and sometimes too much, is too much and he wants his breaks.
Ray Park - I don't know how such a lovable man could ever be a sith... he is great to his fans, he is great with kids... he is super fun to talk to.
Freddie Prinze Jr - will be meeting him for the first time at SWC Orlando :)
Tim Rose - Very friendly, but not overly open... on the shy side I think.
Alan Tudyk - He is as outgoing in person as he is in the movies... he is amazingly fun to chat with and very fun.
Billy Dee Williams - Very friendly but time and the circuit has worn on him a bit... Very smiley, very kind.
Matthew Woods - Such a fun guy, nice to chat with, and he's not just General Grievous, he has become super involved in sound ending and design, and is great to talk to about it :)
Steve Blum -will be meeting him for the first time at SWC Orlando :)

The only SW actors I've had the pleasure of meeting were Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher at last year's Celebration. I may have only gotten to meet them for a matter of seconds but they were both really lovely and I was grateful for the opportunity to meet them both. With what happened in December I was especially grateful I took the opportunity to meet Carrie when I had the chance last year as it gave me an amazing memory I'll never forget.

I've just seen the guest list announced for the 40th anniversary panel and was very surprised to see that Hayden Christensen will be there. I also noticed that they're selling a photo op with Hayden Christensen and Ian McDiarmid together which I bet will be popular!
