What a perfect night! I love the picture of you on the beach. Yep that's the drink I have a picture of my son drinking at 'Ohana's. I've never done the Luau but your update really makes me want to try it. I love pork. While ya'll were watching Wishes on the beach we were in the park watching it.

I loved the AI Experience! Did they have Season 8 people on it yet? Matt said he loved Disney and did a Mickey Mouse impression for me when I met him last night. He said it was his dream come true to go to Disney and get to record stuff for the show intro. I don't know if it is up or not yet, but it will be fun to see.
I wonder if we will see any Disney winners on the show this year?!
I love your loopy luau! That is SO funny that you made sis be the "designated walker" LOL! My mom always says you can't drive home drunk in Disney but you CAN get on the wrong bus! Hahaha.

Yep, they had Season 8 people on it. And they play this little video of Kris Allen from a baby until now and he sings a song about dreams (I can't think of it right now!).

That drink looks so yummy. We were at the Poly quite a few times on our trip and I never remembered to get it.
The pictures from the beach are beautiful, even if they are blurry! You still get to see the castle and the lights above it. We watched from the beach for the first time too, and these pictures helped me remember how special it was!

Love that you got to see Wishes from PR beach, this is something we have to do next time. Last year we did a photoshoot at the Poly and some of our pics were taken on a swing chair next to the Luau and we thought that that would be a great place to watch Wishes from.

I took pictures of an empty luau area on this trip when I was walking around Poly one day. I thought of all my DIS friends who had been and whose pictures I had seen from when the place was filled with music and food and dancers and guests. We'll do that when the girls are a bit older.
I'm glad you got to see Wishes from the beach. It's nice because the view is from far enough back that you get to see it all, and there's just something special about sitting on a towel in the sand and watching it anyway, since we don't sit on a towel in the sand very often here in TN!

I enjoyed seeing your pictures this morning. I'm sure you enjoyed recalling that fun night as you put them up. You are right, too, we will never grow tired of going to Disney World. Every trip is different, even when you are doing some of the same things. We love it every time!

I liked the Dis meet on the way too - what a great way to get excited about a trip than to meet some other Disney nuts

OKW is so beautiful and relaxing. I know I've read some reviews of people not liking the rooms and stuff, but we've never had a problem there. We just wish we would've found it sooner! HA.
Sounds like such an amazing night! The Poly is such a cool place to hang out. It's not my top choice of places to stay, but I love going there to eat and wander around. I've never tried the Luau before - sounds amazing!

We love the Poly. I can still remember staying there when I was younger and we were lucky enough to have a MK view room. I'd wake up in the middle of the night and look out the window to watch the Castle change colors.

It looks like you all had a great, great time at the Luau! That's on my list of things to do sometime at Disney...just not this trip. I have a question. How strong is the Lapu Lapu? I don't usually drink, and so when something is super strong, I don't care for the taste. I've had my eye on the Lapu Lapu since I first saw a picture--I LOVE pineapple--but I don't know how strong it is.
Oh--and your Wishes pictures are awesome! It looks like a wonderful viewing spot!!
You HAVE to do the Luau sometime!
How strong is it? It is pretty strong...but if you move your straw to a certain spot, all you get is the pineapple juice and none of the alcohol so you could do that if you don't like the alcohol part. I think you should try it, even if you don't like it, you can say you tried it. You never know until you try it!
I definitely want to go and get loopy though!! I've still got a few years, oh well! And I love the pics of you with the castle in the background!
