Great update. This was the day that I saw my celebrity, so I was wondering if you saw the same person. Once again, we were at the same park!

BTW - we went to the WL earlier in the week to look around and the geyser was not working when we were there. I was really bummed, but we will just have to go back again to see it.

The little guy(I don't like to use our real names) is my 2 1/2 year old cousin. His mom (my Aunt) passed away last year, so we all have been helping raise him.

Awww, that is too sweet!!

I can't believe that the whole family left the toddler alone! I hate that those are the families that would refuse to believe they did something wrong if their child disappears! One of my daughters classmates got kidnapped when they were in kindergdrten. Her Mom was well known for being an hour or more late to pick her up, or calling the school and telling the office to send her home with her friends parents. I couldn't understand it then and find that type of behavior even worse now, 20 years later.

On a more positive note... I love your families poses! Your Dad and Sis continue to crack me up!

I love your families laid back style!! I can't wait to stay at AKV. I've never even seen AKL, so I am really excited. I don't really see how you could go wrong with any of the DVC properties though.

Great update! I am the same way with certain sounds or smells reminding me of things!! I get all teary! Especially when it has something to do with the kids! I will definitely take photos of AKL when we are there...tons! But, we were going to stay in Kidani...just changed that to Jambo yesterday. It will still be beautiful, though! When I get back, they will all be in my TR. I am hoping to start my PTR today or tom. Maybe you can go through that with me!!?? I'll put the link in my sig!

You really should try staying at AKL if you get the chance. It is a beautiful resort, and if you like the WL it is very similar (I think it was the same architect that built/ designed both resorts) We stayed during Christmas a couple years ago in a savanna view and it was so nice, I've wanted to go back ever since!

Hey Tink!! Sorry that it took me foreeveerrr, but I'm finally all caught up. There's so much to comment on I don't even know where to begin. Your family reminds me so much of mine... you guys are all so cute and crack me up! I'm glad you had such a great time hanging out in the most magical place in the world together.

I love how much time you spent at the resorts. You know how that's my favorite : I love the parks, but the resorts are all so gorgeous, laid-back and fun that a lot of the real magic is there for me. No idea why, but that's always how it's been. It wouldn't feel like a trip to Disney without spending time hanging out at all the resorts we're not even staying at

Sorry you didn't get to go on the balloon. It looks fun and like something I'd like to try, but $16 a person just seems like a lot of money for a 6-minute balloon ride. Through our theater clubs all four of us have seen Broadway shows for $16 total. I don't know... maybe I'm just really cheap

I'm psyched for the margarita stand at DTD though! I don't think I ever noticed it but we'll definitely be checking it out. My permit (yes, my permit, not my lisence... don't judge ) expired in May so hopefully I can still use it as ID. We'll see!
