A different waitlist question

I called and made a reservation and waitlisted for something else.

Then I called and canceled that reservation, and made a totally different one. I also waitlisted for something on that reservation.

Should I call MS and make sure that the original waitlist was canceled?

Am I just being paranoid? I assume that the waitlist is linked to the reservation. But now that I think about it, she told me that the confirmation number did not change for my reservation. So, now I am paranoid that I am on multiple waitlists.

Has this ever happened, or am I being paranoid?

I know, I should just call MS and stop worrying...:coffee:

Yes!

I do not think you are paranoid and the waitlist for the canceled reservation could very well still be active.

When you call, also ask the CM to check on the waitlist you do want - to make sure it is set up correctly. There have been several reports of waitlist issues. It is easy for a mis communication to occur and easy for a CM to make a mistake. No one cares more about your reservation than you do.

So call and as the previous poster said, "make yourself feel better" .
