A Different Question about Meal Reservations for a Large Group

I already have our hotel reservations (on site) for the ten of us for February 14th. I want to make "meal" reservations when it is 90 days before.....especially..I am going to "try" really hard to get either the Cindy Breakfast or Lunch during our stay. From what I have been reading..(and Thank Goodness for these Boards !) ...I need to start calling a little before 7:00 in the morning...90 days before we arrive...to even maybe possibly have a chance of getting in.....Shouldn't I have a "Magical Gathering" number in hand..just to make it as simple as possible...(the Magical Gathering number would have all of our names and other information)...and if so...how early can I go about obtaiining the Magical Gathering number?...Can I just call up (which number?) and get it now? When I reserved our rooms on line, there wasn't a place to mark for Magical Gatherings. :bounce:

You needed to make your ressies with the magical gatherings #. I do not know if they can group it all together now, but I would think that they can. There must be at least 8 of you ages 3 and up. The number is 1-407-wdw-plan. We used this and have a magical gatherings number. We used this phone number for our dinning reservations also and always got through faster. We got Cindy's breakfast for 8 of us. We had to be at two tables as there are not large tables up there. Good luck and have a wonderful trip. I would just call and give them you ressie #s and see if they can group them into a magical gathering number for you.

We are going in October as a Grand Gathering group. Call 407-939-7707 this is the number for group dining. You do have to give them the grand gathering number & they will seat you together. In not at the same table you will all be in same area. Our reservations for the Sci-fi dine will be for three cars & at Wolfgang Pucks we will be seated at two large outdoor tables. The only thing they told me was that since we are a large group any cancellations should be made 48hrs ahead. I was also told that since we are a grand gathering we will be given an intinerary at check-in that will list all our reservation numbers. Hope this is helpful.

I just remembered something else. Even if you are a booking a meal for fewer people you still should give them your gathering number so it can be listed on the itinerary.
