A Desperate Plea for help!!

I can't figure out how to remove the paper backing from the dark transfer paper! Am I a moron? Is there an easy way to do this. Please rescue me before I ruin another piece of expensive transfer paper.

Yes, you can actually "tear" it. The transfer portion will not tear, but the backing will, and give you a place to start pulling it apart.
