Hey guys. Just thought I'd give you a little recap of our awesome quick day trip to DL and DCA today (4/16). My sisters and I (and my son) were on Main Street at 8:45am. This is what is was like:

We went right to Dumbo, Casey Jr. seemed to be having problems and we never did get to go on it. Then we rode on Jingles the horse (my youngest sis and my son):

Then we went to the Tea Cups and then to Winne the Pooh. Thunder and Indiana were not open until about this time (9:40ish). Not sure why.

DREAMED!!! On our way from Fantasy Land into Thunder Ranch right past Village Hause. I just want to say I have been to DL about 10 times during the promo and have never even sen the Dream Team. But there they were at approx. 9:35ish.

It was so cool. It really made our day. My son only used his on Buzz, and I used mine on Buzz and TOT. So I gave ours away at 3pm because we were leaving. The couple I gave them to were very nice and they just stood there looking at them for a few minutes. They were so happy. Remember to always pay it forward!!

I also wanted to post some pics of the new PlayHouse Disney Live On Stage for you guys with toddlers. The pics are sort of far and dark. Sorry.

My sister said she saw the new red and white monorail running, but I only saw the Million Dreams one running. Sorry no pic of the new monorail :(
Toy Story Mania still looks heavily under construction.

We saw Mark from The Biggest Loser Couples with his sweet fam right by the McDonalds Wagon in Thunder Ranch. He was really nice and was in town for last night's taping.

The crowds seemed unpleasantly thick as we were leaving around 3pm. Other than that it was small wait times and perfect weather! Got Qs?? Just ask!!

Sounds like a great day ~ cute foto's of everybody! I can't wait till this Sun. ~ we'll have 4 days in the park, hoping for light crowds at least the last couple days of our trip.

Is it usually busy at this time? I'm hoping the crowds die down for my trip on 5/10 - 5/14

Sounds like a great day, and how awesome that you got to meet Mark! I really wanted him to be in the finale with the two girls. He was awesome. Please tell me he wasn't ordering french fries from that McDonald's cart! ;)

Hi!! I'm the other sister..the middle one..it was such an awesome day!! Being dreamed was my favorite part..I felt like a little kid again. And just to top it of meeting Mark was so cool..since that is like one of my favorite shows. Anyways just thought I would comment!!

Like I said, the crowds were very nice until the afternoon. It was actually hard to push the stroller at times. I think you folks have a busy weekend coming up...

No, he wasn't (my sister's were, and I snuck a few :rolleyes1 )

I wanted him to be in the finale too!

Thanks for posting the pics of the Playhouse Disney show. My DD5 and DS3 are very excited to see the new version of the show this summer.

Sounds like it was an awsome day for you! Love the pics. Did you see Mark cry when you were around him. (sorry my question mark key is not working for some reason:badpc: )

Cry? No. We had Tivo'd the finale and hadn't seen what happened yet. He was just all happy and smiling (it was their first time to DL). His wife and daughter were with him. They said, "Thanks for watching the show." I asked if they were annoyed yet by people asking for photos. They said no way and were extremely friendly. No one else walking by even stopped or looked or anything. Well, the lady at the french fry cart asked us who it was and what was going on. I asked his wife if she was so proud of him and she said yes. They said my son was adorable (I'd have to agree :) )

They were just super down-to-earth people :)

And to everyone else: The picture of the crowds in the morning at rope drop is only half of what was there. There were at least that many people behind us!

The reason I asked about the crying is because he did that quite a bit during the show each week. Sorry, just very poor sense of humor on my part.:upsidedow

I saw and talked to this Dream Squad member on Saturday for about 45 minutes. She was SO nice. Unfortunately not in "Dream" mode though she gave me an Honorary Citizen button :thumbsup2 She is actually a delight and I'm hoping to see her in "dream" mode when I go next weekend on the Ladies' Only trip!

No! Not poor sense of humor at all. I hate that it is hard to communicate tone of voice over the internet....LOL he was very happy is all.

How cool that you saw her too. We should start a thread of Dream Team pictures....
