Would love some suggestions. We will be doing SeaWorld and then checking into our Disney resort around 6:00pm that evening. What should we do during the evening time?

If it was me I would probably use that time to visit Downtown Disney or just check out your resort.

After a day at SeaWorld, Checking in and get settled for your WDW vacation. I would most likely, take a swim, grab some dinner and hit the hay early, so that everyone is refreshed and ready to go. If you find yourselves checking in earlier I would get settled then head for DTD, dinner and a later swim, this always helped my kiddos fall right to sleep.

For us Sea World was a half day trip, my kiddos wanted to see all the show and go. But that's just us..

I would most likely not set a time to leave Sea World and check into the resort. I would enjoy Sea World as late into the day as you want (it's an expensive one day thing), head to you resort, check in, grab a CS dinner there, and crash for the night. A full day in any park wears me out and I would want to be rested for the first of WDW the next AM. If you arrive early and want to do something, check to see where you can get an ADR for a place close to your resort, take a swim, a mono-rail ride, check out FW, tour a few resorts or if you have a ton of energy and want a late night,, hit DTD.

After a day of SeaWorld, we would go to our resort, have and quiet meal and chill out and rest. The next day, off and running for a great day at a Disney
park of your choice. Have fun!! :thumbsup2

I would agree about not setting a time, there is a lot to do and see at seaworld, we have almost always been there til closing and still missed a few things.

Agreed ::yes:: .

We did the VIP tour in August and even with a tour guide, Quick Queue, and reserved show seating (plus we arrived at park opening and stayed to park close), we STILL didn't have enough time to see and do everything and returned for a second full day.

For us, SW is a two day park. If I were you, I would plan to stay as long as possible at SW, grab dinner somewhere on your way back to your resort, then relax in the pool for the remainder of the evening.

We're doing something similar for our next vacation. The idea I have rolling around in my head is to go and check in around 4-5pm. By the time we unload the car and freshen up it could potentially be 6:30-7:00pm. I may send my mom to DTD for EoS for supper OR we'll just find something in the food court. I do not believe we'll use an ADR for this day. Everything will be different because we will have a car. Once DD goes down, I will head to Publix for some things. :)

ETA: DD will be almost 2.5 and my plan is for her to remain at the resort for the evening. I assume she'll be exhausted.

If you are staying at a disney resort, there are disney movies shown at night outside. If you are going to be at Grand Floridian (based on your signature), you can watch fireworks from Gasparillas

We've only been to SW in Orlando once and were there until almost 7. Then you have to drive, park, check in, find your room etc. I would just plan on eating at the resort, unpacking, maybe a swim or movie and calling it a night.

SW is expensive and I wouldn't plan on being done by 4 or 5.
