A Darling Family Halloween Trip to Neverland (and Peter Pan Came Too)

Too funny that Michael was able to pull the sword again...what a great pic!

The costumes are awesome and I can't wait to hear all about the party:goodvibes

Better late than never, right? I'm here and enjoyed the beginning of your TR. The costumes are just adorable!

Couldn't agree more with you....Jasmine and I were both sad as we walked through there and saw all the construction. It just seems wrong doesn't it? Too bad they couldn't just wave a magic wand and it be done:wizard:

I totally agree with you about that big chunk of Fantasyland being pretty magic-free, lately...I was so surprised that they didn't at least put murals up on the construction walls, or something!

That sucks that the teacups and Pooh Bear were down. I hate seeing construction at Disney, takes the magic away for me just slightly.

Love the Zurg pic, so cute :)
Were they not down when you were there? It is strange they had them both down at the same time and then when you added in the construction wall for the expansion it really was just one long construction tunnel

Michael and the sword really was a funny moment. He was just so nonchalant about the whole thing:laughing:

:welcome: I'm glad you found your way over!

Hopefully it will all be worth it when it is all finished, but it is pretty bad at the moment.

It is a bit suprising that they didn't make more of an effort to disguise the construction. And poor planning to rehab Pooh and the Teacups at the same time because that is really all there is on that side of Fantasyland.

Wow, that does seem like a Disney mistake having Pooh and the teacups down at the same time. Your right, very unmagical.

I'm going to be an optimist and say I can't wait to see The Picture!:goodvibes

Pooh Bear was working, but the teacups were down, which was a shame as we have never been on them before and were going to do it this year. Oh well, there's always next year I guess :)

I hate walking by that little area where the construction walls are up, doesn't feel like your in Disney :(

I also was sad about Fantasyland on our last trip. Teacups & It's A Small World were closed, and the Pooh entrance was walled off. I know that there is so much more to the MK than just Fantasyland, but it's my favorite. I'm sure it'll be fab when it's done, though.

That's so sad that both Pooh and the teacups were down. Although..I could live without the teacups myself  but the boys love them and they have to ride them every trip. However....Pooh is one of my favorites!:lovestruc I was just reading this morning that they opened it again with some new enhancements done to the ride. I can't wait to see them!!:thumbsup2

Great pictures on Buzz!! Love the Zurg picture!! As you know, it's a must-do pic for us too!!!:goodvibes

I guess they figured they would get all the rehabs done at the same time. Hopefully I'll get the next update up soon so you can see if I got The Picture

You've never ridden the teacups:scared1: I think they have them in Paris too so maybe you can ride them in December!

It really is pretty bad right now. Hopefully it is worth it when all is said and done.

I do think it was a mistake to take both Teacups and Pooh down at the same time. Especially because both are supposedly going to be fairly quick rehabs. Just space them out a bit, but I'm not the boss of Disney:laughing:

So we headed over towards Main Street in hunt of a Photopass Photographer. We found one even before we got there. This was a photographer set up next to the rose garden. That’s a great photo spot so we stopped. There was a bit of a line. I snapped this picture of the cute topiarys while we waited.

Then it was our turn. I sent the Darling Children up first. These are some great shots.

Then I insisted on Peter Pan joining in. I think this may be my favorite shot of the trip.

The 4 people I love most in the world in my favorite place!:cloud9: The shoot was a success and I think you’ll agree that we got The Picture I was looking for. I asked the photographer if the kids could hold Tink. (I just thought it would be adorable to have the Darling Children holding Tinkerbell.) The photographer told me I had to find someone that wasn’t on a tripod yet and recommended Main Street. There was a bit of groaning, but Peter told the kids they should do this for Mommy and then we’d be done with the shoots for the night. So they agreed and we trudged off to find Tinkerbell. We found her.

Peter joined in the fun.

Then Tink must have flown away. :lmao:

This picture cracks me up. I’m actually kind of glad they forgot to add Tink. I know I could have called and they would have put her in, but we have plenty with her and only this one without her. So my photo pass fix had been met. Official party time was approaching. Where did we head first?

Great pictures! You've definitely inspired me to make the most of my photopass card the next time we are at WDW.

You are right, that is an amazing photo of the Darling family in front of the castle. Where are you?

And the non-Tink photo is really cute. I like little memories like that and all those trips and you never got that one before.;)

Those photopass pic’s are awesome! It’s great that they have the Tink option.

Your husband is so sweet to tell your kids that they really needed to take a picture with Tinkerbell for you.

The Photopass pictures turned out sooooo good, even the one where they forgot to put Tink in.

Your photopass pics turned out great!!!:thumbsup2 Those Tink shots were definitely worth heading over to Main Street for.... they're sooooo cute!!!:goodvibes

The photopass pictures are great! I wonder if the missing magic photos happen often? I suppose that they take so many photographs per day that it's inevitable!

I love my photopass! Though if I had a better camera and was a better photographer maybe I wouldn't be so dependent on it!

I stayed out of most of the group shots because I didn't have a real costume. I think it ruined the effect so I just had the kids and DH in the pictures. I'm in pictures on Day 2 and 3 more. And I can guarantee there will be tons of pictures of me with my medal in my January trip report! I'm definitely going to document that:laughing:

The Tink thing is fun and it was especially fitting with the costumes. How is training? I ran 15 miles on Monday and I'm doing a 16 mile run tomorrow. It tires me out! I'm not sure I knew what I was getting into. Let me just say for the record: Training for a full marathon is way more difficult than training for the half:rolleyes1

DH is really good at sticking up for me when the kids are giving me trouble! Sets a great example especially for the boys:goodvibes

Great PP shots, loving the Tink ones esp :goodvibes
DH like the Tink ones best too, but I'm partial to the ones with the castle in the background.

Your photopass pics turned out great!!!:thumbsup2 Those Tink shots were definitely worth heading over to Main Street for.... they're sooooo cute!!!:goodvibes
I'm glad we did the Tink ones too. Even if we had to walk that extra hundred yards:laughing:

I've seen other examples here on the boards where Tink wasn't added. Supposedly you can call photopass and they will add her in. But like I mentioned we have tons of examples of us holding Tink. This is the first time they left her out so I kinda like the picture! Makes me laugh!
