I am about to prove the Jersey in me. kinipsh**
I knew Jay would be the type to be reasonable about girl/boy stuff. It just always makes me laugh how freaked out some men get about the whole "but he's a boy" thing (like your uncle or my friend's husband).
BTW - in Southcentral PA we go to the shore as well.
Happy weekend everyone!
Another great report MissCammie! I have been clipping bits of your verbage and putting them together as a little cheat sheet for our November trip to WDW. My boys are already practicing proper Disneylike behavior.
Would you mind sharing the site where you bought the matching clothes for your dinner at Coral Reef? I'd like to maybe get something matchy for us!![]()
Looking forward to the next installment!
I used to LOVE those Chinese flip flops! When I last worked in the city (2003) I used to wear them on the LIRR and change my shoes at work!I only had them in black though... I remember the day of the blackout, I fogot them at home and wore my usual 3 inch heels. Man did I regret that because I didn't have much cash on me and the street vendors were selling them for $25 EACH! Such lowlifes! Nonetheless, I had to walk over the 59th street bridge barefoot!
I know, right?!![]()
as long as they aren't red and sparkly, Jay's good...Teddy also has a strong passion for my red high heeled "Wedding Heels"...the child LOVES to wear them!

You had Red wedding heels, How cool are you !?!?
I had intended upon wearing a very sparkle-y pair of Stuart Weitzman "wedding" heels
yeah...everything was too...pristine...y'know? I had intended upon wearing a very sparkle-y pair of Stuart Weitzman "wedding" heels. But I have always had a lifelong passion for RED shoes...it's my Dorothy/Tragic Ballet complex...sparkley red shoes are the BEST.
I had been in my best friend's wedding (an actual wedding, NOT the movie...) two summers before and red had been the color of our dresses and shoes. I'd loved the shoes...AND it just so happened that my wedding day was the exact same day as my best friends. (we hadn't planned it that way, it was just the fateful day our venue was available!) So I wore my red shoes as a nod to my girl, and my "something old"...and it satisfied my need to have some COLOR on my body! My mother was VERY bossy about all my wedding "layers" being white...*ahem* She wasn't playing either!

The only time my shoes were visible was when I was walking down the aisle and having to hold my dress up so I wouldn't trip. It made for some cute pictures! I even heard a childhood friend say to her mom as I passed "Mom, look, red shoes just like Dorothy!"![]()
VERY satisfying!![]()
almost done with the next chapter!!!
yup the term "going down the shore" I learned right here in Jersey. It's a VERY Jersey term...right along with answering statement one agrees with by saying "I know, right?!"![]()
