Hey everybody!

I know I promised a chapter a while ago. Of course things never quite go the way I want them to go...

we've had some pretty massive upheavals this fine holiday season. *sigh*

Hopefully we'll have things more under control after Christmas. We may have some major changes in living arrangements...who knows...I've certainly given up trying to predict anything!

I do solemnly swear to get back on my somewhat regular chapter posting after the New Year.

I WILL finish this Trip Report. I need to focus on the good things we've done and plan more for the future. Writing has been very positive so far. I need get that back.

I just found this last night and have spent hours trying to catch up... and I am only up to the P&P party!!

MissCammie, you are HARDLY an evil step-mother!!

When DD's father and I split up, I was still pregnant with her... It has been almost 14 years now, and I never allow anyone to say anything bad about him (although the good can be very hard to find, if you know what I mean) but he is still her father, no matter his faults and there is no reason for her to feel badly about a decision I made!!

You sound absolutely wonderful with the kids, and more kids should be so lucky as to have a positive influence on their lives!

Wow, that's some first post! Miss Cammy, you keep up the good work! My best friend is going through the same thing with her kids only it's the father's side that is deranged! Those kids are very lucky to have a stepmom that loves and cares about them so much! You have a Merry Christmas and I hope we will hear from you after the new year!

What could you possibly have been thinking? Children should NOT be having fun or magic!! They should be going on 5 ski trips in designer clothes or be home eating baby food until they leave for college!! What is WRONG with you woman?? **extreme eyebrow slam**



I hope y'all know I was kidding and the tone in this post is one of sarcasm... I think MIssCammie is incredible and caring, I just didn't get why someone would attack her ...
MissCammie (I just love that and I can picture the kids saying it as all one word) keep up the wonderful job you are doing with those kids!! Remember the magic of Disney can live on at home... in talking about the trips you have taken and in planning future ones!! =]
(I know Disney planning keeps ME pretty happy!!)

MissCammie I absolutely love your TR and I applaud you for maintaining your morals and beliefs about manners and behavior. People nowadays are so quick to put the blame everywhere but where is belongs when it comes to the delinquency and misdoing of children. My own mother is alot like you, and I find that refreshing. Thank you!!!!

ditto!!!! Couldn't have said it any better... I bet that it's also nice for the kids to know that they have someone not technically involved (yes you're involved but as a third party-ish sort of way - hope that makes sense) that they can rely on to talk to without feeling like they are the rope in a tug of war.
