A Daily Lesson in Parenting and Manners: A TR by a real life Wicked Stepmom!

just found this report, I am really enjoying the way you write and looking forward to more:thumbsup2

Just found the report today, and I am seriously enjoying your trip. I have been accused of being sentimental ( just a small leaky eye problem) **cough cough** Your report has brought laughter and tears many times over. I hope everything turns out for the best. :goodvibes

Okay, MissCammie, I've only just read the first day (after the parade) but I'm luvin' it! :cloud9: I've laughed, I've cried, my hubbie keeps asking what's going on? why do her kids call her MissCammie? (Don't worry - I've explained *everything*).

Thanks for sharing. Brilliant.

Y'all are being so sweet. I have a free couple of minutes and I just wanted to tell everyone that I so appreciate the nice comments! I should be done with the next chapter by tomorrow-ish...but then I've said that before and like...three weeks roll by!:headache:

Sugar'n'Spice-I'm glad you are enjoying the report...sorry if I gave you a bit of the sniffles! I'm the biggest cry baby EVER in the world...I cry reading back over this stuff...which is why my therapist makes such a brilliant living off of me!;)

thanks everyone for reading!!!

Okay - I found your report this morning - haven't moved until page 50 is done. (totally ignored my family!) Started crying at Minnie Mouse and haven't stopped!

Thank you!

So glad you are back to posting MissCammie!! When I was leaving Epcot last month I was taking pictures of the Christmas topiaries and thought you would enjoy the Donald topiary since you occassionally have inner-Donald moments. :goodvibes

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I have a collection of Donald pictures in all his varied forms. I always love to see Donald in a medium I've yet to see him in! A Donald topiary is my idea of some good gardening!!!

thank you thank you!!!:goodvibes

Welcome back Miss Cammie! :goodvibes We've missed you. Enjoyed the last chapter. It's those moments when I wish there was such a thing as "kid glasses" so we could see the magic the way they do.

I'm in!! All I've read is your intro and I'm laughing and crying already!!!! I will be back to catch up and comment!!!!!!

So glad you are back and hope you and yours had an awesome holiday. Anxiously awaiting the next installment. popcorn::

:surfweb: Okay I started this TR yesterday morning and appart from many many interuptions I'm caught up:yay: . I am enjoying your writing so much, you really have kissed that Blarney Stone girl:worship: .

I have to say that your Sally sounds so like my eldest DD it's scary. Becci is now nearly 12 (going on 25!!) and has had a pretty hard time since I split with her dad when she was 2. Her father is a paranoid schizophrenic and also a bit of a control freak so she's not had it easy to say the least. She has always had a BIG prob with rule breakers and saying what she wants and how she feels for fear of upsetting people, she has that obession with doing things like a REAL family...sound familiar??? Okay downer moment over, there IS light at the end of the tunnel, in the past year my Nervous Nellie is becoming more confident and assertive, she's now questioning things that she's being told and standing up for what she believes and wants...not always but it's a start and it makes me sleep a wee bit easier at night. I firmly believe in what goes around comes around, I've had to wait nine years to see it happen but when it happens it's SO SWEET...please don't judge me I'm not normally a vindictive person but hey when pushed:rolleyes1

Keep up the good work and remember that good old Faith, Hope & Pixie Dust:tinker: that with prayers works every time.

YAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!! You're back! Great installment...can't wait to read more. I feel like I'm right there with ya'll!!

Thanks for sticking with your report. I have enjoyed reading it and seeing the World through the kids eyes too. On a side note I always liked the 80's rock songs and didn't realize what Come on feel the Noise was about until about 2 years ago when I saw a behind the music on VH1.:confused3 I was about 26. :rotfl: So Teddy and I can relate. :lmao:

great installment......Sally's right..soarin is the best!! :) .....so glad she was feelin the magic :wizard:

Would you be at all surprised to know that I have, in fact, kissed The Blarney Stone? I was in college...and a girl really has to commit to getting to that stone just to give it a smooch...it's a lay on your back and hang over a ledge type of deal! I think about it now and marvel at the strength of my immune system...cuz ick...slimy rock that probably 84,000 other people have kissed...:scared: :lmao:

I'm sorry to hear about your ex-husband. That is so hard for your children and it must have been hard for you. I am EXTREMELY glad to hear that your little shrinking Violet has broken out a bit and is questioning things that don't quite sound right...or even remotely right...or are clearly pure and utter NONSENSE...

*ahem*

I so hear ya on that front!!!

*on a side note* I can hear wailing from a child in the hallway...it's getting closer and closer to my office...and just from the sound of the wailing I know who the child is, what he has done, and that he isn't even remotely sorry!:lmao:

gotta go put on my stern face!

new chapter up soon!!!

I KNEW IT...I bet you gave that mingin' auld thing a right good snog!!!:rotfl:

I told you about Becci so you would know that they do come out the other side. I'm sure we've still got drama's aplenty to come in the future but she seems to be coping.

Niamh is from my second marriage (she lucked out and got the good daddy!!!)and as much as Becci's like Sally Niamh is like Teddy...toilet humour and all:scared: .

CampbellScot, I hear you with the putting on a stern face when you really want to crack up. The other side is trying to smile through your tears. You are great at both. I can attest to the fact that all these dramas make great stories to tell the grandkids one day. :thumbsup2

Sure could use some of you Scots around our area as our Scottish Festival is in dire straights and might near to closing down for lack of volunteers. I am thinking of taking my, mostly German, butt over and seeing if I can blend in a bit. Hey, I have Scottish grandkids and that should count for something. ;)
