A Croc For All Seasons - It's done! Epilogue, p. 52

Pssst... wanna know a secret?? We have a reeeeally long hallway behind our office that few people use. Sometimes, when I'm feeling especially thin and the shoes are kickin', I practice my runway walk back there on my way to the ladies' room. Don't tell, though!

Runway walk or the peepee dance?

Oh, good, so I don't have the only child who freaked out at the Carousel of Progress. We made it into the theatre but my DD4 was so upset, almost in tears, that I had to take her out before it began. :confused3 I'm hoping we'll make it in during our upcoming Nov. trip.

Great trip report so far. I've read some of your earlier trip reports so this should be fun. :)

BTW, did you ever find out if it's okay if your ADR has more people than actually show up? My DD and I are making this upcoming trip with another single mom and her DD and we just found out recently that a third single mom and her DD may join us, too, but they're not sure yet.

I don't know if I should make ADRs for 6 or 4...... And these other moms are not planners like me so they're probably not going to go for me using their name and phone numbers to make additional ADRs.......

HLDisney (waiting for the 180 day point later this month so that I can start booking our ADRs)

We had an issue last year where we had made an ADR for 5 people but my dad wound up not feeling well and not going. When we got to the podium to check in I just explained the situation aand the fact that there were only 4 of us, they were very understanding. We were still seated very close to our requested time:thumbsup2

Posting so i can come back & read.......
Welcome back V.....we had a lot of fun on your pre-trippie. :cool1:
Can't wait to read this!!!

I have sooooo much catching up to do! Yea! Free time and another report to read by one of my favs.

Can't wait til the kids go to bed. Yippee! I have some reading to do!

:scared: Ok, that's just wrong! :lmao: :lmao:

I'm sorry, but I'm just sitting here in convulsions.....oh the things I could say!!! :rotfl2:

Convulsions? Do I need to break out the karaoke machine again? I'm picturing you as Tina Turner doing the Humpty Dance.

I can actually attest to that - we met at a bar and she whipped that thing out...it is huge...

Wow, V. I would have never guessed.

Ok, I "survived"-(yes I am the cheesy one that made up a V themed I will survive anthem on the pre-trippie) the first installment & am anxiously awaiting more........popcorn::
You are the best V :cool1:

OMG< I never thought of that - I could be the Official Focker Photographer!
Honest, the Rebel body isn't very big, but my lens is admittedly huge.

More on this to come, but my recommendation is to make your ADR for the maximum number of people you may have :thumbsup2

V....I keep looking at the post count and thinking there will be another installment hidden in here somewhere. :rolleyes1

I’m still trying to sell her on the comfort that is Crocs. She’s shopping even as we speak, so time will tell.

You and others have sung the praises of Crocs in most or the TR's I've read. But when I mentioned to my wife about trying them for our trip this July she questions how can a plastic shoe feel comfortable in the heat and humidity of Florida. Does anyone know of any good responses? Because it does seem like your feet (particluarly the toes) would get awful hot being encased in plastic.

BTW, I love your TR's. I've read them all and they just keep getting better and better.

It's all about the holes! They allow the air to circulate in there ;)

It was around 90 the entire time I was there and my feet stayed cool and dry. I wasamazed. As some will tell you I have admitted to croc shame, but I broke down on this trip with a pair of beaches. Don't get me wrong I still think they are ugly, that's why I want to try another style for next time.
