A Croc, a pair of crocs, Karma and what is all this stuff around my neck? update 6/17

Your Backstage Magic tour sounds... well, like the one I took! Glad you enjoyed it,t oo! We did Keys to the Kingdom this trip. In September, we're doing the Family Magic Tour for Brooke and I will watch Brooke while the rest of the group does the Around the World on a SegWay Tour. I would also love to do the AK tours, they both sound so cool!

OK - back to :laundy:

Hi there, how's the laundry. I'm thinking of doing the Segway next May. Mom is going in Feb and she will be 74, she will not be interested in riding a Segway, but the safari one is right up her alley.

The tour sound so great, thanks for sharing it with us. Hopefully when the boys are older they will be interested in doing some of them with us. Did they have an area roped off for VIP viewing of the parade??
My mom and I have similiar conversations(just not about dogs). They are they best arent they?

...I may spoil some Magic for you, if you don’t mind, please keep reading. Nothing earth shattering, like I know where Walt’s frozen head is, but just thought I would warn you.
Darn.;)

She did say the movie is getting replaced in June too.
Hallelujah! :thumbsup2

Did you know the yellow that the parking lot attendants wear is patented?
Oh good grief! As if anyone wants to steal THAT uniform! :rotfl:

We entered behind TOT (btw, anyone know what that crane over by TOT is for?)
Nope. I wondered the same thing.

Ok confession, I never knew where this place was. MGM is the one park that I still need to refer to the park map sometimes. I do like this park, but hate the layout.
I hear 'ya.

Me: Hi, how’s everyone doing.
Mom: I’m keeping Rocky
:rotfl2:

THANK YOU Mo for detailing this tour! I'm not a surprise kinf of gal and I've always wondered if I'd like the tour. I know what I'm doing for my Bday now! :thumbsup2

I've done the SegWay and it's awesome. Judi and Ron have never done it, or Meg either, so Rhonda's going to take them. I don't know why, but I thought a morning alone with Brooke would be fun. :confused3

That tour sounds awesome. Once I have visited enough to get caught up on the "out front" stuff, I really want to do some of those. Thanks for sharing some of that interesting trivia with us. I've always wanted to see that world under MK. They were really visionary.

hey there T, yes there was a roped off area near Town Hall, nery nice and it was shaded:thumbsup2

Mom and I have some very interesting conversations. An ex BF of mine used to say he would come over just hear Mom and I converse.

I really think you would enjoy this, I guess grandma will watch Leo/Stan (what are you calling him these days;) ) for you?

Still day 3, April 30th…

After a nap, yes I said a nap, I headed back over to Epcot. Don’t know if you noticed, but I have been in WDW over 24 hours and haven’t gotten on a ride yet. I walked straight over to Future World and grabbed a burger at Electric Umbrella. Hey what happened to the fixin’s bar:confused: ??? It was ok, nothing to brag about.

From there I head over to TT and go in via Singles Rider line. Psych:cool1: , they let me through as the last pre –show is finishing. So I walk right through to the line on the other side of the preshow. So I am assigned a number to stand on and there is a large group who is confused about who will be in what car etc. Next thing I know I am the only adult riding in a car with some pretty young kids, all the adults in their party are in the other car, and they don’t speak English and I only speak English. Yes, I am monolingual. The youngest (who had the most beautiful brown eyes) is seated right next to me. All I can think is if there is a problem, I am the only adult and I can’t talk to them. Next thing I know we are at the safety check where you pull on the yellow strap. No one else in the car understands that they need to pull on the strap. So now I have them looking at me, yep the monolingual Puggymom. The one next to me is looking scared:scared: and all I know to tell these kids is “me llama puggymom” (and I don’t even think I spelled that right). It is over 20 years since I had HS Spanish. The cm just shrugs her shoulders and we are off. Luckily the rest of the ride goes smoothly and we are safely dropped off.:thumbsup2

Next up Mission Space. I love this ride, the spinning version only for me. I love that quick face lift you get, saves a bundle at the Plastic surgeon. Again no wait, walk right through where I am assigned a number, there are 2 other people there already, who haven’t ridden this yet. The woman is getting really nervous and now I am too. I like my outfit the way it is, don’t need to accessorize it with someone else’s dinner. We go through our pre-training and board our spaceship. I decide to leave a seat between me and them as there are only 3 of us assigned to this spaceship. Well, we all made it Mars and back with no one losing their dinner. For which I am grateful.

I walk over to the Seas as I haven’t seen the new Nemo ride yet, again no wait, boarded very quickly my clammobile. It is cute, but will not be a must do for me on future trips. Though my goddaughter will love it I think.

It is a little after 8:00 and decide to see if I can get on Soarin before Illuminations. Posted time is 40 minutes, but the line doesn’t look bad, so I get on it. And so do THEM! :scared1: You all know and ,ahem, love THEM:rolleyes: . That family, you know, where the kids can do no wrong, they are just peeeerrrrfect. Yes that family. And this was a large brood of THEM. When I get on a line I always leave plenty of room between me and the folks in front, this way if I need a little room, I have it. THEM, were right on top me. One of THEM had those one of those VIKING horn hats from Norway on and I was poked a few times. I tried to be subtle about things at first and even the very nice family in front of me was getting annoyed. I finally turned around and somewhat loudly said EXCUSE ME!!!! The parents didn’t take too kindly to that, but c’mon, how many times am I expected to get hit with horn????? The very nice family in front of me sort of adopted me the remainder of the time we were waiting. Our reward… Row 1, middle section, that’s right, PRIMO seats. pixiedust: THEM had to look at the bottom of my feet the whole time we were Soarin over California. :snooty: HA, take that THEM.

It was now close to Illuminations time so I headed over to WS. I found a great spot between Canada and England. I do love this show and don’t think I will ever tire of it.

This is where I just love staying in an Epcot resort. As the mass of humanity is heading toward the front of the park after Illuminations, I am heading to International Gateway and a short walk back to BC, to hit the hay!

When we did Soarin Pre DIS days we got row 1 centre and I didn't even realise they were the best seats :lmao: You sure made up for the lack of rides today and I'm so glad nothing went wrong on TT with those little ones!

Cant believe you were in DW for over 24 hrs before you got on a ride!

MS.......you dare-devil you. I cant bring myself to do it..And Im afraid DS4 is to young. Whats your opinion??DH said maybe no spinning would be ok as that what he usually does. But I'm just not convinced.....yet.
Soarin.......OMG!!!I nearly passed out. I HATE heights and we got 1st row slight left of center. Dont tell anyone that I was a big sissy and put the strap between my legs(like the kiddies have to) I was sweating when I got off that ride.DS 4 LOVES it.DH just laughed at me when I told him(we have to babyswap)

Dont you just love "those" people who are always up your butt..I give em the old NJ stare down..Whatever happened to personal space.

Didnt you just love how there was no wait for most everything. It was a great time to go:thumbsup2
How far is the walk from EP to beach club?we always say we are going to try staying there but always wind up at MK resorts.
Well I am loving your report and cant wait for morepopcorn::

Just caught up and I am loving this TR!!! I am so excited to go...and now all the inside info is getting my blood pumping!!!!

That has never happened, it usually isn't 24 minutes.

I haven't done the no spinning, probably in Feb though when I have my Mom with me. I know you are headed back in Oct. Can you wait for a report then? I do think DS4 is too young, but from what I saw, he will be ready soon (there are no ducks on this one;)

You would have been proud, they got some serious Jersy attitude.:sad2:

It is only 5 minutes from International gateway to BC, I love the whole Epcot resort area.

HI there!!!!

You trip will be here before you know it, I cannot wait to read the actual TR from you 2.

On to day 4, May 1st…

Today I have an 8:05 ADR at Crystal Palace. I have a wake up call for 6 am. I know it’s been said, but I can’t stand that Stitch, most! Annoying! Character! Ever!!!!!!!!!!!

So by 7:15 I am in the car and heading to MK. I park very close

That SUV you see is the handicap parking row. I am in the first non-handicap row.

A short walk over to the TTC and I am on the resort monorail. I am very quickly going through bag check, it is about 7:45. A few minute wait and they are letting everyone in. BTW, just like the day before going into EPCOT, I am not asked to verify my reservation. They are getting pretty laid back letting people in early.

Up Main Street I go and over to CP, they aren’t even open yet to check you in. A few moments later the window opens and another CM comes out with the hand held thingy (I’m so technical) to check you in. I take a seat on a bench and wait for my name to be called. Next think I hear is Puggymom Party. I was quickly seated to the right of the door. I order my beverages and am one of the first at the buffet.

I hit the French toast first. I love this French toast, don’t even want to think about the calories. I also got some beautiful strawberries, eggs and bacon.

So I am enjoying my delicious breakfast and next thing I know the big guy himself, Pooh, is sitting at my table. I was so engrossed with my food I didn’t notice him coming. And I didn’t have my camera out. :headache: So Pooh stayed for a few minutes, we talked, though I think I did most of the talking and then he got up hugged me and was on his way.

I finished my first plate, got seconds (and again, they don’t give you much hot water for the tea, so I asked for more) and Eyeore is standing next me taking my hand.

So for those who travel solo and feel funny about character meals, DON'T! I had a great time and some great interaction, that I wasn’t expecting.

I finished up and head out to the unopened park. I took a few minutes to take a few pics and enjoy the solitude.

Unfortunately I then noticed the mass of humanity heading up MS. I walk over to the rope at the entrance to Tomorrowland to await the opening.

Warning: More rude people coming up.

What beautiful pictures!! How nice to enjoy the solitude. Thank you so much for posting this TR. I was very apprehensive about my upcoming solo trip, but now I am really getting excited!! Can't wait to hear more!!

I too am amazing that they dont verify your ADR.We had all ADR before the parks opened and never once was asked for confo or anything.dont ya just love that empty park feeling?

Ok so lets talk toast.......French toast....puffed french toast to be exact. I am in LOVE with this stuff. It is like a drug, I just cant eat enough of it!!!
