A Critique of Magic Morning (MM) formerly known as Early Entry at DL.

I am so excited to do EE for my trip in June. After 4 years of AP's we have never done it. We always missed the days when we stayed onsite! :confused3

While I would like to take credit for "my process", it is really a distillation of things like RideMax and reading their tips, working with resources like Tour Guide Mike for WDW (whose advice works well for DLR - with some tweaks), with my personal experience mixed in. But for the most part, it was invented by others.

Regarding my tips for WDW vets, that is mostly a collection of my own thoughts and observations.

I have to say hydroguy that your wdw vets thread is a huge helping of great information. I was a DL Vet who went to work for WDW and became a WDW vet who came back to DL and returned as a non vet but quickly regained my DL vet status.....Ummm did I confuse anyone? :rotfl:

Anyway, point is great information from both points of view. :thumbsup2

Sadly, Cannot Wait 4Disney....(& i suspect the above is a typo)....the wonderful Mr. Toad can NOT be found "in FL" though. :sad2:

I abbreviated Fantasyland as FL. I wasn't referring to Florida. The response was to a poster that thought it was in TT (Tunetown). Wasn't even referring to MK which has WP where MT used to be. I'll stop abbreviating.

Mk in WDW in FL has WP where MT used to be in FL.

I suppose I should stop abbreviating now.
My bad....I figured someone with 2000 + posts probably knew that Mr. Toad got the "hook" (in favor of winnie pooh) in FLorida.

I'm sorry, Cannot_Wait_4 Disney :flower3:

Its TOONTOWN people, TOONTOWN not TuneTown! :) (All in good fun I swear, lol!)

I love Hydro's advice as well! Can't wait to try it all out in June, but we sadly have no EE days b/c we have military discounted tickets. :( OR TTMM :(

Well, to make it more confusing WP is in CC at DLR while MTWR remains in FL (thankfully). SM is also in CC while HM and POTC are in NOS. And if you are not yet confused, the reason that MH is open during EE at DLR is because it is considered part of FL. SM is open as well and its more fun to get a FP for SM and then go to FL to ride all the traditional DLR rides that will be TOTALLY FILLED UP by 10 a.m. with little critters.

Okay, did I leave anything out? LOL, sorry but I had to get in on the acronym fun. . .

Edited to add: for what its worth the first instance of SM refers to Splash mountain and the 2nd instance of SM refers to Space Mountain - just in case you were not confused enough already.

The scary thing is that I followed all of that.

Believe me Trey, I had many more I wanted to post, but when I started laughing so hard that the water I was drinking threatened to come out of my nose I had to quit. . .

Its not as bad on this board but the acronyms on the wdw boards are incredibly tough to follow. . .resorts, parks, water parks, different areas, different lands, etc. Its just too much. . .lol.

Thanks for your tips!!!

Do any of you know if the new nemo ride will be open during EE's?? We are going in June and I am trying to figure out the best time to ride.....

In my humble opinion, the best time to go on the Storybookland Canal Boats is right at twilight. The lights come on, and the little cottages, really look beautiful!

I remember once when I was at DL with my parents as a kid, we were on the canal boats and it was time for the fireworks... We had the best view from our little boat... Ahhh memories....

I too am curious about this, and have heard nothing.

Dunno yet. But my plans are right now to do the Nemo Subs on a day that has no early entry at all. That will allow me to concentrate my efforts on my early entry day in Fantasyland where there are more rides that one should get in early.

Don't forgot that SM and Buzz are open during EE. We did EE Sat. the 10th and it turned 8:00 when we were on SM and it filled so as we finished the line was being filled quickly.

EE 8 rides it was great. I also recommend PP first 2x no wait.

Although I will say we did the storybook ride (I can't remember what it's called specifically) and we thought it was boring,

This is one of my favorites, but I only ride it after dark. It just lacks the magic during daylight.
