First of all, thanks to all of you! I have gathered soooo much information and great advice from these boards! Also, a great place to share my excitement---first cruise! - Documents here!-first cruise!-okay, I already said that. Booked Capt Marvins!.....
I am sure everyone here (they are not going on the cruise) really doesn't want to hear every little detail.

Okay, Questions: 1) I have 2 teens, 15 & 16, and we are looking for ideas for excursions in Key West and Cozumel--would appreciate all your ideas.
2) Does the parasailing sell out, or do we have a good chance of
being able to book at CC? Banana Boat?
3) Has anyone used Prestige towncars? Is $155.00 a good deal for transfers from Orlando roundtrip (3 of us)
4) What time does your luggage get into the rooms (we have late dinner seating? Trying to carry as little as possible.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR TIME AND INPUT!!
Hope to see some of you there!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

In Cozumel, we did the Fury Catamaran sail/snorkle/beach party thing, and it was amazing. Teens would get a kick out of this, or the "teen only" catamaran ride that ran after we got off...the crew was GREAT, lots of high energy, the catamaran was fast and fun, it was a blast. And the snorkling was great too...here's a couple of photos from our underwater camera to give you an idea of how plentiful the fish were on that one for us... :)

Luggage is put out between 9 PM and 11 PM. They ask you to strictly observe the 11 PM guideline and say that anything not out by then has to be carried off by you the next morning.

Oops . . . just reread the question -- to get off ship this is the luggage procedure.

We had early seating but were able to go to dinner and go to the Farewell Performance with plenty of time to spare for packing and getting our stuff in the hall.

You shouldn't have a problem either.

Don't do like we did . . . . DO NOT pack your sea-bands in your luggage the last night. You never know if that last night will be a rockin' and rollin' after your luggage is gone!

:)

I can answer two of your questions.

1st- Parasailing CAN sale out, on our sailing I wanted the early time, but could not get it, this was about 55 days before the sailing. I recommend you book as soon as possible. Im not sure about the banana boat rides, I THINK I have read on here before about others booking it a CC.

2nd- Our bags were brought to our room around 4pm. Do not worry if all of them do not come at once. Our garment bag didnt come untill about an hour after the rest of our luggage.

Hope this helps some :D

Let me clarify...What time does the luggage arrive in the rooms on the first day :-) did not want to bring any carry-ons.

Thank you for your comments--they are very helpful

Thanks for the reminder about the sea bands, I think we will keep them on :-)

Hi,

We actually did parasailing in Key West. It was less expensive also. I can't remember the name of the company, but it wasn't far from where the "Magic" was docked.

We got to our room around 145 or so and had barely sat down when the luggage got there.

Aprilgail2...My daughters name is Kasey also--I rarely see this spelling..she is very cool :-) of course, my son is awesome also lol

Thank you all for the suggestions on excursions, and for the info related to lugguge. I think we will carry on nothing but ourselves:-)

Look forward to seeing some of you

Our room was changed and we did not know this until we got to check in. Our luggage did not arrive until 7:30, so it was a rush to get ready for dinner. If your room changes at checkin, check outside the original room to see if your luggage is put there. Wish we had known to do that. Or carry a set of clothes in your carryon for "just in case".
