A couple questions before we leave

We are leaving on Monday and still have a few questions, i am hoping that you can all help me with.
Since coming from Canada we need passports and my 11 year old had to sign to get his so does he have to sign it now or do i as the parent?

We are bringing a car seat for almost 3 year old and will be using it on the airplane, the car seat is a alpha omega and it has a base that you have to take off for use as a booster( we will not be using it as a booster), i have heard that you take the base off for a flight to, do you have to? i am wondering as we will be getting a rental car and i really don't wantt o take it apart just to put back together.

We will be staying att he Camelot inn and suites and their sign says car rental, so you know if they have a car rental on site?
Also do you know that if we rented a car at LAX and we wanted to return before we return to lax( we are needing it to go to San Diego first) would the car rental place drive hubbie back to the hotel??

I can help you with the passport question!

We renewed my sons passport when he was 9 (he is now 11) and on the page with the photo, just to the right of the issue and expiry dates in smaller print it says "Signature not required"
