A couple questions about Port Orleans Riverside

When I was there in 2003 (FQ was closed) they stopped the boat at Downtowns West Side (next to Cirque) if there was someone to get off there. Do they still do that?

And, I heard they are putting refrigerators in all of the rooms now. Is this true? I wanted to know if I should make a stop at the grocery before we get there.

In Sept. 04 when we took the boat to DTD from PO Riverside you had to get off at the dock beside Rainforest Cafe and take a shuttle boat to the dock over near Cirque. They said that the POR boat didn't stop there anymore.

From what I've been reading they should have most of the frigs in the rooms by now. IF your room doesn't have one just call housekeeping and they'll bring on to you free of charge.

as for the fridges, we were told they put them in the rooms by request now for free...so just let them know ahead of time and it should be there waiting for you I'd assume?

We were there in December in the Magnolia Terrace building. Our room had a refrigerator.

I've read that if your room has been refurbished, then you automatically have a fridge. For those of you who have requested one, did you do it at check-in, or request it on your room confirmation?~~
