A Couple Questions about Landry's

We aren't planning to do a big thing for my son's 6th birthday but I'd like to do something. So I thought of allowing him to bring two friends to do a Build a Bear and then lunch at Rainforest after we're done. There will be about 15 of us including his friends, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

My birthday is December and I'm a Landry's member - figured we can use my credit for lunch. My husband and sister in law are also December birthdays (which is when my son's birthday is) but aren't members - YET. Can we combine both of the introductory $25 certificates and all 3 of our birthday certificates? I can't seem to find anything on their terms and conditions.

Also, can I buy discounted Landry's gift cards and use those for the rest of the payment? And lastly, (this is the budget board so trying to get the best bang for my buck :teeth:) can I use my Annual Pass discount on top of it all?

Only the credit(s) for the Landry's member who is paying can be applied to the bill. But the welcome credit and the birthday credit can be combined when using one member's account.

The balance remaining after the Landry's credits can be paid with GCs if you like.

If your husband and sister are not members they won't be given the $25 birthday credit only the person who has the Landry acct gets a birthday cert credit. No on the annual pass discount.

Thank you! I wonder how they would respond if we asked to split the check between the 3 of us? If that's even a possiblility.

They are not members YET. I was thinking of signing them up now. Is the no on annual pass discount "no" with the credits or "no" with the gift cards? And we're both talking about Disneyland's Rainforest right(not sure if that makes a difference)? I always get a discount, just not sure if I've used it with gift cards or Landry's credits in the past.

Your family should be able to sign up and get the birthday credit. You would have to split the check 3 ways to be able to use all three birthday credits. With 15 people dining, it should not be a problem to split the check and have them pay part with their rewards. But they would earn the credit for the other amount on their bill, not you.
With gift cards, I don't believe you earn rewards credits when you redeem, so although you purchased the gift card at a discount, you would not earn Landrys rewards for redemption.

From the Landry company site.
Points are not earned when a gift card is redeemed.

As for the discount you will not get to use your AP discount with the use of a Landry Club card and any of the Disney Rainforest locations.

I'm not concerned about earning points. That would be icing on the cake, but not necessary.

I guess I will sign the other two up and split the check up 3 ways so we can use all the credits. That will be $75 off our bill of probably $300. (Well, $125 with the welcome ones but I have to pay the initial fee so I'm not counting that) I'll buy a $150 gift card at ~15% off to save another $20+. So my $300 bill will be right around $200 OOP.

Thank you for all the replies!

Oh, and lastly, I do remember being told before that I can't accumulate points using my discount and the waiter saying to go online and fill out a missing points inquiry though. Worth a shot.
