A couple of questions.

Hey everyone! I have a few questions for all the vets out there and if anyone could answer them, I would really appreciate it. How are the crowds around the first full week of December? How about the weather? Should I bring some sweatshirts? And what about rain, should I expect daily showers like in the summer? I've read the guide books and websites, but I trust first-hand accounts more. Thanks in advance!!

The first week of December is generally a great time to go. The crowds are not that bad because it is between holidays. Everyone will have left from Thanksgiving and will not start arriving for Christmas for another week (or two) you should find light to moderate crowds, but nothing to terrible. As for the weather, it is Florida so anything is possible. It is usually not a rainy time but there is always the possibility. It is usually nice during the day but can get chilly at night, I would pack a jacket and maybe some sweaters for the evenings. (I am from FLA so anything below 70 degrees is arctic for me )

We went in December for the Millennium Celebration. I remember it was very humid the day we arrived, but beautiful for the rest of our stay. I recall being very cold one evening during Illuminations and the jacket I brought was not warm enough.

The weather can vary. I was in WDW in mid-December 2000 and it was 80 degrees and fabulous. It didn't seem to rain as much as during any of my past summer visits. I would just keep an eye on weather reports before you go. A sweater/sweatshirt/jacket and jeans are a good idea for packing.

As for the crowds, they're great. It might seem packed on the paths sometimes, but ride lines are so much shorter than during the summer.

...I almost forgot. As to the Tag Fairy, begging works.
