I just have a couple of questions for you experts before we leave. I am a Disney freak, but I don't go enough to know the answer to some of these questions. Now these questions are considering the fact that we will be there mid to late August.

1. This whole evening EMH is new to me, but I've heard that you should definitely stay away from it, so we won't be doing any evening EMH. Some of the days I have us going to that particular park in the morning and sometimes at night, because I already had ADR's for that day (and because Disney keeps switching around the EMH days). I can still switch around our schedule a bit because we're there for 8 days and only have 3 ADR's planned. So should you really avoid that park that has evening EMH all day, or is it ok in the morning, or is it really not bad all day until the EMH starts?

2. I have the same question about morning EMH. We only did this once when it first started a couple years ago and it was great! We only went to MK for the morning but left by the afternoon, so I don't know how crowded it got later. So my question is, should you really avoid the park with morning EMH, unless you plan on being there at 8:00? Is that park always a lot more crowded the whole day than it would be during any other day?

3. This is only our second time going since Fantasmic started. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be seeing it again. Last time we went, it was only shown once a night, and we knew to wait on line over an hour ahead of time. But the night we plan on seeing it, it will be shown twice (9:00 and 10:30, with park closing at 10:00, and not an EMH night). We plan on going to the second one, and I've heard you usually don't have to wait as long for the second one. So what time would be a good time to start waiting on line?

4. Obviously I haven't been on Soarin yet, but I've heard the line is as bad as, if not worse than Test Track (which was always at least an hour and a half last time we went). Also, the fastpasses go out a lot quicker. I really want to make sure we're able to ride it at least once, and I want it to be the first day. Our first day I have Epcot scheduled in the afternoon, so around what time are fastpasses usually gone for that ride?

5. My last one is an easy question. I know Future World closes at 7:00 pm, but I heard that there are some things that stay open past that time. What attractions in Future World are open?

Thanks in advance to anyone who could answer at least one of these questions. We haven't been there since August 2001, and even though I know my way around everywhere, I don't remember everything about crowds and such!

-We've only done the evening EMH once, and it was at MGM, and we were really disappointed in that there were only a couple of attractions opened, and the lines were crazy long! We also only did early entry once at MK, and it was so totally worth it!! We did 4 major Fantasyland attractions in about a half hour. I think with the early and evening EMHs is that most people would rather stay out late on their vaction than get up early, which is why I think the evening hours are busier than the morning hours....but that's just IMO.
-As fas as Fantasmic goes, we still stick with 45-60 minutes before show time; they only time we were shut out was we tried going over around a half hour early, but it was a busy day at MGM too...
-I am also pretty sure that Test Track stays open until close, as does Spaceship Earth.
Have fun and good luck getting answers to the rest of your questions!

We went the last week of June and the Soarin' fast passes were gone by 2:00pm and the stand-by line was always a 90 minute wait. Needless to say, my family didn't get to see this attraction. I suggest if you have Epcot scheduled for an early morning, go there first and get your passes or get in line otherwise you may be out of luck.

Good Luck!

We were at WDW June 17-25. We went to EPCOT midweek (arrived around 10 am). Immediately got a FP for Test Track then did standby (15 min wait) for Mission Space. Immediately went to Soarin after MS. The standby time was 60 min. FP return time was 5:30-6:30 pm. We were leaving EPCOT around 4:00 so we didn't do it. We will not stand in line more than 20-30 minutes to ride anything and have never had to in the past. We went to EPCOT another evening for dinner and the FPs for Soarin were gone--the standby time was 80 minutes. If you do not arrive in the am at EPCOT, there is a good chance you will not be riding Soarin unless you're willing to stand in line 1-1 1/2 hours. We will ride it next trip. We did everything else that week, many things multiple times without waiting in line more than 10-15 minutes. :wizard:

Hi! :sunny: I hope that I can help answering some of these questions as we just got back yesterday.

1. We went to MK one day when there was an evening EMH scheduled. We got there at opening and did notice that it was more crowded than the other days we went, but still manageable if you hit the most popular attractions first. So in answer to your question, I wouldn't necessarily avoid a park in the morning that had an evening EMH. If you do notice that it is getting too crowded for your liking then you can park hop to another park.

2. If you all are early risers and don't mind getting to parks at 8:00 for EMH then I say "go for it!" We went to Epcot one morning for EMH and I thought that it was manageable. We managed to ride Soarin' three times that morning due to efficient use of FP! :teeth: Since Epcot handles crowds pretty well, I never thought it was too bad. I would have done other morning EMH's but our schedule worked out that we didn't need it.

3. I can't give you a good answer on Fantasmic. Hopefully someone else can! :teeth:

4. Soarin' is very popular! FP ran out by noon. My suggestion is to try to schedule going to Epcot one morning when they open and go straight for Soarin'. Get a FP and ride it standby. That way you can ride it twice! :)

5. Ok, I hope I remember all that was still open after 7:00. Test Track, Soarin', Spaceship Earth. I know that there has to be something else open, but for the life of me I can't remember at the moment!

Good luck with your trip and have a fantastic time!!!! :wizard:

Thanks everyone so much for your advice. I really appreciate it! :)
