I'm so tempted by the winter offers for January (for my dd birthday) Can you add ppl onto rooms at checkin? If so how much to add 1 adult (myself and my dd have ap's but my husband doesn't) ? If booking over the phone can you just pay a deposit? And if so how much? (Don't want Dh to know yet lol only just told him about mine and dd's trip there in July haha) so could do with only having to pay a very small amount to book it so he doesn't notice :)
One last thing :) for 4n 5days the price ranges from £235 for Santa Fe n cheyenne to £785 for DLH, as much as I would LOVE to stay dlh and I know that's a great offer I think I would rather use cash on princess meals n such for dd's birthday. We have only ever stayed at Santa Fe and cheyenne . July trip we are staying offsite. So what are people's thoughts about which hotel to stay in? Many thanks x :)

Hi. Adding yourself onto the room is no problem - we do it all the time (although I always email the hotel a week before arrival to let them know) I think if you book over the telephone you pay a 10 or 15% deposit with the balance being due 60 days before arrival. Or maybe book through your local travel agent?

4 nights in the DLH for less the 800??? that would be a no brainer for me! That is a super cheap price and especially in winter being so close to the hotel is just brilliant. Plus just staying there would make your daughter feel like a princess :)

I know not every one agrees with that thought process though - for lots the hotel is just a place to sleep, but for us it really adds to the whole holiday. Especially in winter when the park closes early. Its fab to have the swimming pool and kids play room in DLH, and sipping a drink in the fantasia lounge just cant be beaten:goodvibes
Have a fab trip whatever you decide :goodvibes
right I off to price up january :-))

Just a heads up with booking January if this year is anything to go by lots of rides were closed as it was low season.

That is a good price for the DLH, I have stayed there once when I got 50% off. I would never pay full price for it as apart from location I personally can't see how they justify some of the prices, yes its a nice hotel but I personally prefer the HNY don't know why but I have always been drawn to that hotel.

I do love the idea of the Dlh, and I know it's a good deal, but the other hotels are coming up good too, with sequoia lodge just over £300 and New York just over £400. The upside to dlh is location. My dd just wants to be at dlp for her 7th birthday so as she can have a princess meal n birthday cake and character meal n cake lol. At those prices that's what I spend on a party anyways. There's just transport to add on top which would be Eurostar, 1 night stay in London at just over £50. As good a deal as the dlh is for jan it would take it out of my price range of what I would pay for that time of year I think. It would be just as good at one of the other hotels with a pool :) one day we will get to stay at DLH :)

Its your holiday & your money spend it as you wish. I'm with you in spending less on accomodation and have more spending money. I'm the same for any holiday Disney or not

I'm another for spending less on accommodation! I'd rather spend it on decent meals and being able to buy that pen if I wanted too. Our Christmas trip is really cheap off site, think a meal in the park for four of us will cost more than the four nights haha!!
One hotel I would recommend in Winter is the Sequoia though :-) Roaring log fire in the bar and if you are in Montana room, you don't have to even leave the building for breakfast. If the price is good, it would win hands down for me (even in Summer). Good luck with your decision :-)
