A couple of location questions...

We will be staying at either the new Homewood Suites Convention Center or the new (not opened yet) Residence Inn Convention Center on Katella. Where does the Toy Story parking lot tram drop off/pick up at Disney? I know where the actual parking lot is at. What is the closet path to get to Downtown Disney from where we are staying? Would we still walk up Harbor and walk all the way through that entrance to DTD? Thanks!

The Toy Story shuttle drops off on the Harbor side. You'd then have to go through security, cross the esplanade and do the same on the way back. It kind of depends where you're going in DTD, but it's still faster to walk down Harbor than Katella from a hotel on Harbor. It's going to be just under a mile mile to the esplanade and then about a half mile to the far end of DTD, think ESPN Zone. Obviously a little less if you don't go all the way to the far end. You could probably save a little time on the Katella route by cutting through GCH, but then it would depend on where you're going in DTD. There will be many more people walking on Harbor than Katella from south of the parks.
