I just booked Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue ADRs for our upcoming May trip! We are so excited!

1) Now that the ADR is made, I am having second thoughts about bringing my 18 month old. She is well behaved but might have a hard time sitting through the show. Has anyone taken a toddler to the show and how did it go?

2) What is the best way to get from the Beach Club to Pioneer Hall and the best way back? We will not have a car.

Thank you!

I think you'll be fine. It's not a "strict" sit down show. There is a lot going on to distract her and many breaks in between. It also isn't a show where everyone has to be hyper quiet and listen. There is a lot of laughing and clapping going on so it's not easy to be distracted by others.

I'll let someone else answer the travel question. :)

When we went to the HDDR from the Beach Club last year, we took the bus to the MK and then from there the boat to FW. The dock is a very short walk from Pioneer Hall. The boat ride is very relaxing and is fun in and of itself.
If you are going to the 1st show, just reverse your route to get home. If you are going to one of the later shows, they have buses all lined up outside of Pioneer Hall to take you to your resort. There are several resorts per bus, so it takes a bit of time, but it was very convenient
I think there will be enough going on to entertain your little one. There is lots of action happening during the show.
Enjoy!!!!

I brought an active 2 year old the first time. It was a bit tough to keep him in his seat, no one really noticed him squiggling and squirming because it is so loud and people are watching the show.

We have only ever done the late seatings so the buses were always waiting for us at the end of the show to take us to our resorts, which is better than the SOA (luau) because we had the last seating and we had to go to DTD (the MK was closed so we couldn't take the monorail) and transfer from there and it was a royal pain in the butt! It took us about 1 1/2 hours to get back to our room that night.

But I digress, there are always lots of little ones at the shows and it is no problem. Just don't worry about it too much.

Don't worry about 18m old. Plenty of commotion around. The show is great. PP have transport down pat. BC to MK boat to FW short walk to Pioneer Hall. Make sure to get there early enough for your picture. Hope you're going first show, much easier with little ones. For return boat to MK then bus to BC.

Thank you for all the boosts of confidence about taking our 18 month old princess to HDDR. I have really been looking forward to seeing this show because of the great reviews I've read. Now, I can rest easier knowing if she does get antsy, it shouldn't be a big problem.

Thank you also for the directions to the show. It sounds like a fun adventure just getting there.:goodvibes
