Hi Everyone. I am sorry, but I have not planned any Disney trips in 2 years and have not been on this board in awhile so I have a couple of dining questions....Thanks.

1. I made a couple of dining reservations for a trip just my son and his friends will be taking in March. I used my credit card, since he only has a debit card, to secure the reservations. They will not, however, be using my card to pay, as they will each pay on their own. My question is if this is ok, that the card used to secure the reservation will not be the one used for payment after the meal? I know if they do not cancel the reservation 24 hours prior, I will be charged 10.00 per person.

2. My husband and I are planning an anniversary trip with my son at the end of June and I just tried to secure my dining reservations, as my 180 days just opened. Do they no longer allow you to reserve for 10 days into your trip once your 180 days opens? Do you have to reserve dining day by day at your 180 day point?

Thanks again for all your help.:)

1. Yes you can use a different credit card to pay for your meal upon arrival.

2. If you have a reservation at a Disney resort you should be able to book at 180 +10.

Thanks so much for your quick replies. Yes, we are DVC members so we are staying on site. I guess I need to put my confirmation number in the dining system for online dining reservations, as it only gave me 180 days from today, our first day.
Thanks again!:)
