Hi
We'll be on the Dining Plan (standard) but I'm wondering about CS meals.
The Dining plan brochure states that, for lunch and dinner, you can get 1 entrée, 1 dessert and 1 non alcoholic beverage.
I've seen lots of reports according to which you could substitute the beverage for another dessert, or substitute the dessert for another beverage, as long as you had 1 entrée and 2 other items.
Is this info correct ? and if so, is that standard procedure, or just hit or miss depending on the CM at the register ?
The case is that, while at our resort (POR) a beverage would be of little value as we have the reffilable mug anyway. And even a bottled beverage is of little to no value as we already will have a large pack of bottled spring water.
But a second dessert sure sound more interesting for that sweet tooth of mine
And next, what does qualify as a dessert ?
it's my first time on the dining plan and I'm a bit confused. The only dessert we ever had were either as part of a combo meal, or in the "market" place at the resorts.
I can think of POP right now, where there is a fairly large selection of cakes and other dessert items, but how does it work ... is the selection limited ? or ... well, please help
