A Couple Arrival/Departure Questions

- I assume that Bell Services will hold our luggage if we arrive before our room is ready. Would they also be able to store a gallon of milk for us? I am planning on using DK Livery and stopping for a few groceries, but I didn't know if they'd be able to store perishables.

- Should we plan on being picked up from our resort (GC) about 2 1/2 - 3 hours before our flight out of SNA?

I'm not sure if the bell service at the hotel could store milk for you. I'm pretty sure that Whitewater Snacks at GCH sells half gallons so maybe you could get the milk there.

SNA is a fairly small airport. If you are not leaving during a rush hour time heading back to the airport 2 1/2 hours early is going to be way early enough. The car service can probably be helpful in determining a good pick up time.

Do you mind sharing what the round trip cost for SNA to DLR is with DK livery. I'm not sure if we are going to do a taxi or car service.

GCH should be able to store your milk - they have fridges and freezer to store food since a lot of Villa guests have groceries delivered.

As scoker said, SNA is a small airport about 25-30 minutes away depending on traffic. So if you are going off peak, leaving about 2 hours prior to your flight should be plenty of time.

DLH will not hold perishables but will hold your luggage both at check in and check out..

One more thing... the fridges aren't that big... a gallon of milk may not even fit! they have odd shelves and stuff that sort of prohibit really big items... lots of smalls ones will fit though.

We'll be staying in a one-bedroom villa, so we'll have a fridge. I guess I'll probably just buy the milk onsite though just so I don't have to worry about it. Thanks everyone!

You can go ahead and stop and buy groceries - I know for sure that Bell services will hold your groceries - as I said, they have both a fridge and freezer. Your other option is to have Von's deliver. If there is no alcohol in the grocery order from Von's, Bell Services at the GCH will sign and store them for you. I have stayed at the villas many times and they have always store my groceries for me until check in.

SNA's website recommends getting there 2 hours prior to departure. 2.5 hours should be good enough.
