A Contemporay Christmas?

We are planning a trip to WDW from Dec. 27-Jan. 2, staying at the CR (tower). I was trying to compare prices by using Disney's trip planner and the quoted price was $3913 (including the Dream Maker package). Is there any way to get this number down during the holiday season? Would you suggest using a travel agent? Is booking the room and tickets really that much cheaper? The only discount my husband and I would have is AAA. Thanks for any advice!

Well you can get the Contempory Room Only for 3177.84 then add 5 day park hoppers for for 217.00 each. So if it's just two adults then your total is already at 3611.00. But to answer your question I would do it yourself. It's a lot of fun that way!
