A cockroach biting my butt.... The End 7/21 #285

Thanks to all who have been reading and posting. Mrs. The King has fought a hard battle this week as the creeping crud of stomach flu has invaded our lovely home:sick:. Both PS and PC have been struck and Mrs. The King spent a good hearty day kneeling in front of the god of porcelin as well. All seem to be doing better today and she may come and post the next installment later but I am still hogging her computer to try and finish my coursework:surfweb: Thanks agian to all who have read and posted it has made Mrs. The King very happy to have such fine DISers cheering her on.:cheer2:
Happy Mother's Day to all of you Moms, hope you are all taking it easy and enjoying your day:butterfly .
-MR. The King

sorry to hear about your illnesses. I hope you all are back to normal soon.

Happy Mothers day to you!

Hope you are all feeling better soon! Here is a little funny from our trip to make YOU smile! Sorry to hijack your site.....
Funny #1: My nephew (4 at the time) is raised out in the country where it is perfectly ok, in his opinion, to relieve himself anywhere and anytime. So now he is at WDW and my aunt looks over to see 2 lilly white cheeks poking out of the bushes on Main Street (or near Main Street)! She quickly stood in front of him because we all know that you can't just pull a kid out of the bushes while in mid-stream! She then proceeded to explain they were not at home and he HAD to use the toilets...he was not impressed UNTIL he found that they flushed themselves!!!
Funny potty story #2: My other nephew (4 at the time)....what is it with 4 year old little boys? Anyways, we all went into the bathrooms and my sister took Josh into the stall with her and next to them was a lady with a cane. Well we had just gotten off Pirates of the Carribean and Josh exclaimed in his NOT so quiet voice, "Mom, that lady has a PEG LEG". My sister just about died and the lady with the "peg leg" was giggling quite a bit....I was on the floor 3 doors down thankful that I was on the toilet when he said it or I would have pee'd my pants laughing so hard!
P.S. I would also be the one at church laughing if someone "fluffied" or even made a noise that sounded similar :) We would have a great time together! Hope you all feel better!

Hope you're feeling better now!!! We miss your posting - hurry back when you get the chance!:)

I just found this. Of course the title grabbed me and pulled me in but your writing wrapped me up and strangled me. I'm still giggling but I have to come back later to finish. I just wanted to say Hope you and the kids are feeling better soon, and Mr. the King doesn't succumb right here at the end of school. By the way, a blond married to a special ed teachers sounds verrrrry interesting. :lmao:

Hope everyone is feeling better, just wanted to know you were being missed on the Dis.

I hope you are all feeling better, and I am anxiously awaiting the next installment.

I just wanted Mrs.The King to know that I don't think I will ever be able to ride Space Ship Earth without thinking of your adventure! I was riding last evening with DD, and started to laugh thinking of you battlint the two kiddos alone. (Never really thought about it before, but I guess it really could be quite frightening to a little one!)

I also thought of DD when reading the potty stories - she was afraid of the self flushing toilets up until about 2 years ago - and she really is not afraid of anything. I guess if you have one of those babies flush while you are still sitting on it and you are only three it could scar you mentally :scared1: for life!!!!

Love a good bathroom story. (Hint, I read on the Dis somewhere that if you use post it notes on the sensor, you can avoid the auto flush, have no idea if this is true or not, but I read it on the DIs, so it must be true;) )

You don't need sticky notes.
I too have a DD that's scared of the auto-flush (ok, so am I, lol). Just take a couple squares of TP, apply a small amount of mommy-spit to one end and stick it on the wall so it hangs over the sensor. :thumbsup2

Just finished reading the first 8 pages, OMG I am soooo LMAO!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

My husband thinks I'm nuts! I'm laughing so hard I'm crying!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

This is the best TR EVER!! Can't wait for the next chapter!

Hope everyone is feeling better  and we'll have a new installment to read soon.

Who would have thought... that never even crossed my mind! I guess I'm not a very inventive mom!!!!

Maybe that could be anothre use for HD Lime Green Mickey Heads!

Maybe someone can market a product and make a million. Disposable "Flush Stoppers".

Is your child terrified of public rest rooms with auto flush toilets?

Mine was too, so I invented - "Flush Stoppers". Easy to use, small enough to carry in your purse or pocket, just peel, stick and "go"! For those Disney enthusiasts, we even make Lime Green Mickey Heads, so not only can you soothe a terrified child, but you can leave a Disboard calling card!!!

Only $9.99 for a pack of 100, or call our toll free number (1-888-STP-FLUSH) now and you get 2 - yes I said 2 packs for that same low low price That's less than 1/2 cent a potty stop!!!

Sorry, it's early and no coffee yet :surfweb: . I just really truly never thought of using anything but my had to block the beam!!!

Just came on board with this one, and SOOOO glad I found it. This is HILARIOUS and the way you take a moment and stretch it out into a laugh fest is super. Can't wait for the next. Thanks for the laughs.

Hope all is ok in the King family....we are going through some serious withdrawl...throw us a bone so we know your ok! pluto:

I hope you are recovering Mrs The King. The day after Mothers Day I was worshiping at the porcelain altar as well. Do you think it is a conspiracy? :lmao:

Being sick really throws a kink in your life. I am so behind in everything and we leave for WDW next week!

I would buy those. A lot!!

Thanks for all the bumps and concern. I can't wait to write the next one. Here in Kingville, everyone had the puking flu. Twice. Except Mr. The King who has super teacher immunity. Eventually, teachers are like cockroaches, very tough. Unless they teach in Florida, then they are like Palmetto bugs. Then the Kings rolled up into the Birthday Extravaganza. Both kids have February birthdays, but we throw a huge party in May so it can be in the backyard. I do a huge Carnival Party. I did one for PS's class and one for PC's class back to back in one day. We have a parade, 12 games, hot dogs, treasure hunt with a Pirate (Mr. The King dressed up). Usually I have Grandma :darth: and Grandpa to help, but they were slackers this year. I am still covered in hair and face paint. I hope to get the next chapter up this week. Thank you all for making me feel special, you all rock so much. I hope you have great week and I will be back soon.

So happy to hear you are all better and we can stop the "what happened to Mrs. The King" post...just kidding! We will all be here when you are rested and cleaned of all paint.:jumping1:
