I am so lost on here It keeps jumping to other pages. I am NOT liking this yet as i have no idea what i am doing.. Like just posting a reply without quoting? Where did my picture go?!
This is going to take me all day to figure out...
I know - it's strange - it will take some getting used to. But it's really not all that different than how the boards were done before... Everything is done exactly the same - it just looks different.
That's about how I feel right now with the new boards. I know that change is necessary but so far I don't like it! Oh and this is Ariana by the way, I lost my old Avatar and had to replace it. I'm glad you figured out the multi-quote because I need to go do an update on one of my TRs and now I don't have to search for it.
Hahaha... Always happy to help out. It's so nice to see everyone here this morning!
This new dis will take a while to get use to, lucky im working from home today since my girls don't have school due to weather. Not sure why though..
Yes, it will take some getting used to - that's for sure.
I am not sure about the new DIS. Will take some getting used to. Glad that Alli got her permit and your visit with your dad sounds like it was a good time. I ate some off whole30 foods yesterday. I had some hummus and pita chips and meatballs that weren't compliant. No side effects, so I am happy about that.
Yes, I agree. And yes - I am so proud of All for getting her permit... She's already put in quite a few hours... The benefits to living in the country. LOL
Yay for some good food reintro... I've done a bit of dairy and that meal of Chinese (which didn't agree with me)... Otherwise, I am doing Ok - still trying to limit the dairy though.
Ugh, dislike the new dis boards. I do not like change, especially this kind of change. Plus the fact I can't get this to work on my phone.

So excited for Alli!!!
LOVE the new sweatshirt. I will have to look at our store when I head back to the outlets to return that VB bag.
Today was a snow day for us. Even the company that I work with closed down for the day. Now the fun begins with digging out the cars. I am totally a hot weather girl. The only one in this house that loves the snow is our big dog Tuck.
Have a great day. Thoughts and prayers to all!
I know - it's so weird getitng used to.
Oooh - I hope you find something good at the VB outlet... I need to make it to ours soon... I really want that Flower Power Weekender to go with the rest of my Disney stuff.
The snow is crazy in your area! I sure hope all goes well today.
Hi D!
Remember me? Sorry I've been MIA for so long. Work was insane when I got back from WDW. I was pleasantly surprised that my work didn't go unnoticed by my boss's boss so I got a nice bonus. We are going to try again to hire a new analyst. I don't know when my next Disney trip will be. For the past few years I've gone in the fall but since my pass expired in August & I won't be going this spring it didn't make sense to go last fall. I do have a "just in case" bounce back for free
DDP for August but I don't know if I will keep it. Lizzy really doesn't want to go and I'm not sure Gene will want me to go with Joe & Emma. I've been spending most of my online time reading about my European trip this April with my friend. I'm so used to knowing everything about WDW it's a bit daunting to be going to so many new places.
I was sorry to read about V's allergic reaction & bus troubles. And sorry to hear about A's mono-nice to hear she's doing better. Congrats on her drivers permit! Lizzy is anxious to get hers. In MA you can get your permit at 16, test for license after 6 months with drivers ed (parents also have to do a 2 hour class). For the first 6 months you can't drive with anyone under 18 unless it is a sibling. Until age 18 you can't drive midnight til 5am. Until 21 yrs old your license is vertical instead of horizontal so it can't be altered for drinking. I'm not sure I'm ready for a driver in the house!
Your photos are great! All your hard work is paying off!
Bernadette!!!!! Thanks so much for stopping in!!! I have not seen you or talked to you since we met up in August! So glad to see that you are just busy - I was starting to worry! I wish I could join you in Aug for your FD LOL. Please pass on my hellos to the kids and Gene! I still feel badly that we were all out of sorts that night we met up... I hope you'll accept my apologies for that.
LOL - Yah - it's interesting how different states do it differently. I don't think ours are vertical? Well, they never used to be - they could be now? I have no idea. LOL It's not that bad having a driver in the house - it's a little nerve wracking - but she is doing really well. I took her into the "city" yesterday and she did a great job!
Thanks agian for stopping in.
I haven't got an e-mail that a new post was here. And when I come to the DIS it doesn't look like it used to. It's going to take some time getting used to this new look. Sounds like you had a nice weekend and a nice visit to your dad.
Yah - it's a lot different, isn't it? Not sure if I like it or hate it. It will definitely take some getting used to.
Drivers licensing requirements are different in each state - although they are similar in many regards. In PA you have to be 16 to take the written test to get a learner's permit. Then you have to have your permit for at least 6 months, with at least 50 hours behind the wheel, although that requirement has changed since Shannon got her permit - you have to have some hours at night, etc. and I'm not familiar with the newer regulations. Once you get your license - its called a "Cinderella" license here, you can't drive between 11 pm and 6 am - unless you are driving home from work. Licenses are vertical here too until age 21.
We would have problems when the kids were in band and at a competition, which meant we didn't get back to school until after 11 pm. The school district made arrangements with the local police department to give the kids that drove a letter/exemption from the 11 pm rule.
Funny story - I was driving Shannon home from band one night. I had long hair and was wearing my dd Kate's school letterman jacket. I dropped Shannon at home so she could get her overnight stuff - she was going to a sleepover at a friend's house, Shan ran out and got in the car and I drove off. Got stopped by the local police in the next block. The officer did a double take when she saw me, since I obviously was not a teenager! It was so funny! - she stammered and said that I had a tail light out...
Hahaha... that is a funny story.

It's very interesting to see how different states do it differently. I know - when I had my permit, it was just a paper permit... Now they give out hard cards - but I am not sure if they are vertical or horizontal?
Looking good, Girl! I love the new hoodie -was thinking of ordering one myself.

I just discovered my new favorite emoticon.
Lissette
LOL - thanks! Yah - I think the hoodie runs small... It has a *little bit* of stretch, but not much. I ordered a large, but debated on a medium... Glad I ordered the large. Most of my large shirts are a bit big on me, and I've been mostly wearing mediums lately - if that's any indication of what you should order for size? But I love it - I think it's cute, and I am dying to wear it with a pair of pink shorts this summer.

On the chilly nights - that is. LOL
This is a great trip report!
Thanks! And welcome! I am very glad to have you here!
Finally got caught up, I was way behind. I'm going to be at Disney in early March if you still need someone to shop for you.
Jodi
Hahaha... I always need someone to shop for me!!! Hehehe... In all seriousness though - I was able to get the Hipster I wanted through a Dis friend... But more towards this summer- I think I will need another one of the Perfect Petals hipsters, because mine is starting to look pretty dingy. I am going to have to Scotch Guard this new one I just got, because it's such a light color. Thanks so much though - for the offer... I will try to let you know before you go if I think of anything else I need.

Well, I didn't quite get everything done in my sewing room yesterday...
I got a call from Alli from school - she was feeling very tired... So, I had to drive to town right after breakfast to pick her up. She came home and napped, and I went to work.
I had to run to Joann's after lunch yesterday... And after Alli's nap - she was feeling better... So she drove into the "city" - which really isn't the city - but it's as close as we ever get. She did a great job driving... Lots of parking practice and stop lights, lots of traffic... She did great!
Then we went to pick up V at school - so Alli got to practice in the High School parking lot - which if any of you have ever driven in a high school parking lot after school has been dismissed - it's like putting your life into your own hands - I was a lot nervous. But she did great!
We came home and I went back to work for a little bit... I still didn't finish, but I was close.
We hung out last night and were lazy - it was nice.
Today is a Target day for me.
Otherwise - nothing else exciting.
Still getting used to this "new Dis"... It's strange... Not bad, but it just doesn't feel like my "old friend" - ya know?
OK - I hope you all have a marvelous day! Prayers and good thoughts go out to everyone!
