I sure hope I didn't miss anyone in these repiles... The new way of doing it here is quite annoying. Each time I hit "reply", it takes me to the bottom of the page - then I have to remember where I left off, scroll back up and click on the next one... This will make my life interesting at 5am every day.
Is that a hint?
I don't know if they have the same design. Once i get over there i will check it all out. Not going until it's closer to June. Another Zip hoodie?
Maybe? LOL
It will be fine - whatever you can find... We'll see if they have anything I like when you get there.
Tell allie good luck on her drivers test.
Thanks! She did great!
Good luck to Alli today. Around here, it's not uncommon for parents to wait until their kids are 18 to get their license. My daughter got hers at 17.
Liz
Thanks Liz! Not here - many kids get theirs early because they qualify for a "farmers permit" which allows a teen who lives on a farm to drive legally at the age of 15. So, in this area - we are doing it pretty late. But - I didn't get my license until I was 17, and I feel like I was a better driver when I was younger because of it.
I've fallen behind but am caught up now!
Yay for Alli getting her permit! I hope it goes well! I waited until I was 17 1/2 to get mine, and only had to wait a 1/2 a year to get my full license after turning 18. It seems like a lot of kids are waiting until they are older to get their licenses, which isn't a bad thing at all!
Oh, and let me say THANK YOU!!! for continuing on with your TR. Out of all of the TRs that I have been reading, yours is the only one that is continuing on all the way til the end.
I hate it when I start reading TRs and then the trip reporters decide not to continue them on. It's like watching a great show on TV, and then the producers up an cancel it! LOL And I understand that they are a lot of work, but it still makes me sad when I get hooked on them and then they just up and end!
Okay, rant over! LOL
Also, thanks for sharing your journey to health on here and on your blog! It's very inspiring to see your amazing results!
Hope you have a wonderful and restful weekend!
I am glad we waited too - it was a total accident, but I feel like she will be a more responsible driver.
Hahaha... I am trying... My updates are so scarce these days. I am not sure I will ever do a TR again from multiple cameras - that's been the hardest thing about this one. The others have been so easy to write because I was the one taking most of the pictures... This one, I am having to go all over the place to find the pictures... My phone, my camera, BFF's fb page, the underwater camera (which I haven't put on the computer yet, I finally have those photos), Photopass... It's a bit crazy! Only a few more days left to do.
I am glad that I inspire people... When I started, I never imagined I would come this far. I am glad I finally made the decision to do this "my way" rather than following conventional wisdom - It's made me see that not everything "they" tell you about how to take care of yourself is right. And I would have given up long ago because I would have been starving. I am very happy to be at this place in my life and very happy to know that I am getting closer to my goal size.
Thank you - You too!
I love your sweatshirt.

Emroidered is so much better than screen printed.
Congratulations to Alli

When is she allowed to drive all on her own?
In Norway you can practice driving with a person over 25 and who has had his/her drivers license for at least 5 years none stop when you're 16 years old. You can start to take drivers lessons at a driver school when you're 17 years old. You can't take the final drivers test before the day you turn 18 years old. But when you then pass your final drivers test (that's when you get your license) you are allowed to drive alone.
Thank you! I agree - I love the new sweatshirt. I have yet to "officially" wear it.
Well, here is how it goes in the US. Kids have to take drivers education - a class all about driving... Some kids take it at school and some take it on their own time. Once they complete this class, they can go down to the testing center and take the written exam - which is what Alli did the other day. Once they pass the written exam, they can start driving with any licensed driver over the age of 21. During that time, they have to have so many hours of daytime driving and night time driving (I don't remember exactly how many hours, it's in her log book in the car) - then about 4 to 6 months after getting their permit, they have to do a "behind the wheel" class... Which is 6 hours with a certified instructor. Once that is complete and they are over the age of 16, they can take their drivers exam. If they pass, they can drive a car alone.

OK... Not sure I am loving the new Disboards... This is so odd. I have no idea where to look for my emoticons - I need to find those. Thankfully I know a few of them by heart.

And I definitiely don't like that there is no "multi-quote" feature... I use that A LOT!
I did nothing exciting yesterday... I didn't leave the house or my pajamas all day. It was nice.
Saturday, I went to my Dad's - I had a nice visit with him, took him to church and I did a bit of shopping to pass the time. I got a couple pair of chino shorts at American Eagle - which were returns, so I got them for a very nice price. I also got a couple of clearance tops at Target. So, I was excited about that.
I had a nice visit with my Dad... I asked him where he wanted to go for lunch - and he was dying for Burger King...

Thankfully he gave me notice, so I was able to pick up Chipotle before I picked him up from church, then I took him to BK and he ate there while I ate my Chipotle there.

We had a very nice visit - it was great to see him. After lunch - we did a little bit of shopping, and then I had to drop him off at home and run back to get Josh then be home in time for Josh's game. It was a nice day - lots of running and that part was exhausting, but it was great to see my dad.
Now... A few of you sent my dad cards and gift cards for the holidays... I love that man, but he took all of the GCs out of their respiective cards - so I have no idea who to thank for what. So, if you want me to know who sent what - you are welcome to send me a PM.... Otherwise, know that he will be eating out at a few nice places over the next months - thanks to all of you!!!

Thank you to all of you - the cards you sent him were just lovely - and it still warms my heart, and his that he is remembered.
Today - it's back to work for me. I need to finish up last week's order this morning.
I also have to work out.
I did not have the best eating on Saturday... Josh took us out for Chinese and that was a huge mistake. As much as I love that food - I did not feel well afterwards. I had a great eating day yesterday though, so I feel much better.
OK - I need to get going. The Dis is driving me nuts... I type much faster than it shows up on my screen, and it's super annoying to me that I have to sit here and wait for my typing to show up. I hope this isn't normal, because I can't watch the screen while I am typing because it thows me off - I have to look at the keyboard, and I don't like that.
I hope you all have an amazing day!!! Prayers and Pixie Dust go out to all of you!
