A Car - How Important Is It To Have One During CP?

Amen! When I had opening shifts at Epcot, I was praying for a car. It is such a pain taking the early, early buses.

Actually, not that much better. I would bring a car (ESPECIALLY for Walmart).

gosh, thats sad that they still have not found a reliable bus company. I cant even remember the name it was in 2005, but everyone was miserable and they were not friendly. I only rode the bus for like traditions and the stuff before hand. When I started training - when I had to be there at like 6, I drove. thank goodness.

oh & i forgot: theres SOO many more food options when you have a car. it isnt just frozen stuff, or wendys or pizza. lol. theres a lot of good restaurants near the apartments. i used to go to fazolis every now and then... if it would have been closer, i would have gone a LOT more. LOVE that place!:lovestruc

In 2005 the buses were horrible!! When I came down they were switching bus companies. I don't remember what the old company was but the new one was American Coach. They were a little better than the old company but not by much. They didn't have a care in the world what time they got around to picking us up and when they did they usually didn't wait til the time they said on the schedule. I worked in Magic Kingdom and to me that was by far the worst bus to be on. Sooo many people worked in Magic Kingdom plus all the people going to play in the park the seats would fill up and the bus wouldn't even have room for people at Vista. It was really sad sometimes people who were going to play in the park wouldn't get off the bus for someone who had to get to work so they would be late. Please if any of you go down there, don't do that cause you certainly wouldn't want it done to you.

WOW thats just rude!!!!!!!!

Judging by everything on here, and from what one of my friends who's done the CP told me about the buses, I'm leaning towards taking my car. Does the big Hess station (I think it's a Hess station) on Disney property do repairs and oil changes? My only concern is I'm not going to have any place to fix it if it breaks down or needs an oil change.

I got my oil changed at Walmart :)
