Okay you guys I have one of the best husbands in the world! He brought me roses today for no reason except to tell me how much he loves me. Let me tell you I have been blessed with John. We started dating in 9th grade and I got pregnant before he even graduated high school. We were married before he even graduated high school and we've made it for almost 12 years now. I definatly thank God everyday for my family.

Okay so I'm not the only one...tell me some good things about your wonderful DH, DW or SO!

The best thing about Tim is that he exsists. Its nice to have Prayers answered!

:D :D :D :D That is so sweet! I'm glad your prayers were answered!

now if MJ would just send you Simba huh.

Boy wouldn't that be a miracle.LOL

I also feel lucky to have a husband that respects me, treats me great, is a wonderful father and makes me laugh. Plus he's a totally hotty. :)

Hummm Kejoda I think we need a stronger word than miracle on that one....lol!

Nuke,
John respects me and treats me so well. Hes constantly telling me how much he loves me, but if I were to call him a hottie he would ROTFLOL! But actually he does look pretty good.

That is so sweet, Beth. Whenever you post about your DH, I think he sounds like a wonderful man. :D

My husband did something very nice recently that I'll share.

I called him before I left work on the day they told me that I would be let go on December 31. He sounded nervous on the phone when I told him. After all, the decision at work leaves him as the sole breadwinner in our household. He's been bugging me for years to quit, but talking about it is one thing, actually having it is another. So I expected him to be hesitant and nervous about our future.

But when I got home that night, he had a bottle of champagne all chilled. He popped the cork after I got in the door and poured a toast to "my wife, who is finally going to my full-time wife."

Then we talked happily all evening about our new life style. :D

Stephen is the best (IMHO!! lol) He listens, tells me he loves me, drops by my work to say hi or bring me flowers or food, he works very hard at a job he hates to make sure we are provided for in retirement, respects me, comes to every show I am in, cooks (he doesn't clean, though). I could go on and on. We heard about a marriage seminar that teaches couples how to be best friends. We looked at each other and laughed, we already are. I'm not saying there aren't those tough times (jealousy being one), but we are so happy, and I am so looking forward to growing old with my best friend.

Beauty, congrats on 12 years, and thanks for starting such a positive thread.

What's not to brag about when it comes to my DW? :teeth: :teeth:

Aside from being my soulmate, she's a part-time Senior Manager (easily doing the work of a full-time person), a full-time wife and the best mother a cute little 2-year old could want. There's nothing else I could ask for in life. :):)

Beauty, I've got to tell you that from reading a lot of your posts that I have always thought that you must have a great husband. I also suspect he is very blessed also because I think you are a good a wife too. And John-Cole sounds like a kid that is a lot of fun to have around.

Wow Keli, thank you! I do try to be a good wife, but its easy to be a good wife and mother to my 2 super men!

As for J.C. Oh goodness...I do have an original little boy on my hands. He cracks me up hes so silly. For example this weekend we were on our way to Memphis and it had turned off hotter than we thought and J.C. had worn a fleece shirt. I asked him "Do you have a t-shirt on under that?" He said "Blame my parents." I said "Excuse me?" He said "yeah I have a t-shirt on that says Blame my Parents" I had to ROTFLMBO! He is a mess and a half.

i have one of the world's greatest husbands too! matthew doesn't have to buy me anything (although, gifts are always accepted:) )...he knows how to make me smile. even when i am having the world's worst day, he'll send me an e-mail or an instant message and it just lifts me up!

like today...i wasn't having a bad day, but just at a moment when i really needed it, i got an e-mail and here's what it said...

Dear Brandie, "You don't marry someone you can live with, you marry the person you cannot live without." --Unknown

I can't live without you...

Love,

Matthew

now how sweet is that?
he also cooks (fabulously i might add), cleans , and does laundry! he's always the gentleman, opening the doors for me...tells me i'm beautiful all the time...tells me that he loves me...he's just amazing...

He doesn't have a great way with words, that's for sure! LOL!

But he's a good husband and father, and I am very glad to have him.

Having a great marriage is one of the best things in life, that's also for sure. :D

DH and I were married 29 years Oct. 21st. He is my constant and bestest friend. He can tell what I am thinking without me saying a thing. He always seems to be able to say the right thing to get me going! Love him dearly!!

OK OK...my dh does not cook or clean unless he absolutely has to but I'm very thankful for a husband that loves his family to pieces, he's an excellent provider. With all his defects and virtues, with all the good and bad times, I still wouldn't trade my family for anything!

Beth - yes you are truly loved and you are one of the happiest people I know. You richly deserve all that you have because you are one of the sweetest people I have ever "met."

Barbara

I love any thread that let's me talk about Don.

He is without a doubt the best friend I've ever had. He's kind, honest, patient, romantic, thoughtful and a SO much fun to be around! He's funny, SMART, a fantastic cook, a very hard worker and devoted father. I thank God every day that he came into my life. :) :) :)

Have I mentioned that he's the best friend I've ever had?? :)

I have a wonderful husband too.

He is my soul mate, my one true love, and my very best friend.

My friend told me that she and another friend were talking about us one day and they both said they wished their husbands looked at them the way mine looks at me. She told me she has never seen a couple so in love in. :)

That was quite possibly the nicest thing anyone could have said to me. :)

He is always there when I need him, always loving me even when Im not the easiest person to live with, and to top it all off he's an AWESOME father and a strong Christian man. Everything I could have ever asked for :)

Thanks for reminding me to count my blessings :)

Thank you for such a wonderful post on such a downer day.

Brandie - I stole what your husband emailed you and sent the same thing to my husband. Just too sweet to pass up.

I love Kevin because he is the best person I have ever known. He makes me laugh when I want to cry, he will just cuddle, he will always be a friend, no matter what happened in the pass. He has a soft side that he is not afraid to show, and at 6'6, 280, he is the best bear hugger anyone could ever meet. He just makes me love life...and strive to be the best person I can. We have been married for 2 years, together for about 9.5 - since we were 15.
