Still going through, but I thought I'd post this tip since we are in the middle of the 2000 pages. Instead of having to click on the numbers at the bottom, go into the address bar and replace the page number you are on (at the end of the address) with the one you want to start with. I only thought about this after about 50 clicks on the page numbers (which only hop by 10).

I can't get the FIND on page to pick up a poster's name -- only the text. I double checked by typing in one of the user's name I was staring at on the page.

DemonLlama - I've been using using find and it picked up the poster name. Do you maybe have it set for exact case? Are you using Internet explorer? Not sure how all this stuff works, it is easier when it does. Thanks for the tip on how to advance the pages, that will make it much easier.

Those are some great posts, love the one about charity and how she helped people.

Don't worry about speed, it will get there. There is so much to look through. Maybe we'll even find the stinky grandma in the lagoon story

Janette - I have done 7 pages. It takes me over an hour to do each page. I have found nothing so far. Where is "find." If I thought that would work I would be able to do lots more. Thankx.

If you are using internet explorer the find is under the edit option at the top of the page. Left click on edit, then click on find. Enter robin then click the find next button.

Hopefully that helps. I'm not very good with instructions.

Use this link and then just change the page number at the end of the address. The link in the first post is to page #1 so it has no page number.

From what I can figure out in the archive, folks searching the last pages probably have already sent you the ones from May and July of 2001, but the others may not have turned up yet.

Is there really no way the administrators can search the archive (more than by title posts) for her posts? The search in the archive has been "turned off" -- does that mean there is a way to "turn it on" ?
