A Blast in the Past!

Hey everyone!!

I haven't been on the DIS much but recently I've decided to come and lurk a bit. SO much has changed! I really can't get over it, lol. It's unbelievable how much time has passed since I was last active here...as I was reading through old threads from the past (because that is what I found myself doing in my spare, and bored time haha) it almost felt as if things never changed - that time never passed and that the boards were still as they were over a year and a half to two years ago. People have come and gone - moments lived and forgotten - laughs had and enjoyed - and it just amazes me how while this is just a forum and a website...I still feel like a part of my life was put into this board. I'm still friends with people who I met on this board. Some of these threads I was reading felt very present to me yet some are over 2 years expired now. It's all very surreal for me to think of how quickly time changes. It's almost unbelievable how quickly time moves sometimes.

So anyway, that is my crazy realization. lol. Also - as not to leave this thread at a horrible waste of space (as I have only simply stated what was on my mind lol) I also wanted to use this thread as a way to say hello to everyone again and to say that I have very much missed being here talking with most of you who I have known and that I hope you are well.

Welcome back! The DIS is truly a great place with great people!

But I think you meant to post this in the Dis Community Board forum, not the VMK Community Board section. Although VMK will be tree (or is it for) this summer, so maybe you were an early VMK addict??

She was one of the first CL's when they started that program! I believe she even may have started back when VMK was in beta. She has many friends from VMK, myself included! (Hiya gf, left you a PM last night!)

She is still an "addict" and has been on VMK as she can, just not here on DIS due to her heavy schedule.

This year will be VMK's 3rd birthday.

PurpleDuck is right, I used to be quite active in VMK near the start of it all and I did have a CL title early on. About a year and a half ago, however, I dropped the title as I realized I wouldn't be on as much and would lose touch with the swing of things (which evidently happened lol). The VMK board is the board I was most active with and where I met most of my DIS friends

Well, whatever time college allows me, I will try to pop in here more often - simply because I miss most of you guys! My main purpose of this was just to say hi and see how you all were.

Sorry! LOL! You didn't mention VMK at all in your post, so I just assumed... (see, I knew that would get me in trouble!) I can offer you a Ned pin to make up for it...
